Great illustrations of wonderful paintings and clear concise explanations of the mythological stories. I love to browse through as well as read thoroughly. An excellent aid to the imaginative delight of myths.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas present. He responded to it positively right away (something he does not always do with gifts). He is somewhat of an expert on mythology so I take it that this is indeed a good mythology book.

Its a great book with lots of information. I am kind of disappointed that there was very little mention of Hestia, but I do appreciate that it has more than one pantheon.

Outstanding in its illustrations and the quality of the book in general, the book arrived well-packed andin perfect condition. Beyond that, it arrived very quickly - just perfect for my Christmas gift!
