The Partial Capo - The Basics, Tips, Tricks, and More Book/Online Audio

I have been playing guitar for nearly 40 years but the partial capo makes the fret board seem to grow in possibilities. Having this guide by Randall Williams really helped me get up to speed quickly. It's inexpensive, well-written and packed full of tips and tricks for using the amazing partial capo. There is a CD included but the guide is so well written that I had no need to use it.If you're a guitar player and want to be amazed at the new territories opened up by this amazing tool, pick up a partial capo - I highly recommend the  Kyser Short-Cut Capo  - and PARTIAL CAPO: THE BASICS, TIPS, TRICKS, AND MORE by Randall Williams. I think you are going to love it!

Nothing dramatically new here than what's available online. I expected more chord info and song tab. However, what is there is high quality and easy to use.

It was an ok book, but I was a little disappointed that it covered a LOT of capo basics. I was hoping for a full book on the cut-capo/ partial capo, which is not the case.

I received a shortcut capo for Christmas and then found this book with CD. The instruction in it is clear and simple to follow. If you're just starting with guitar you shouldn't be messing with this capo. Wait until you really know the instrument better and how to use a regular capo first. What I really like about this book is that it explains how to use a full and partial capo together. It really takes your guitar playing to a whole new level without having to retune your guitar.

This book clears up a lot of questions guitar players new to the capo world have. It explains concepts clearly and in a very interesting way. I strongly recommend it.

This is an excellent book to get started with if your trying to explore various uses of capos. Worship music has been pushing the bounderies of music by using the cut capo to craft pop-worship tunes and this book gets your feet wet.

Could have stopped title at Partial Capo: THE BASICS. If you have a basic understanding of chord structure this book has little to offer.

The book is interesting but I expected something deeper with examples and small pieces

I thought the book was very limited. I expected chord charts for different keys and examples of pieces to learn. People who buy such books will know what I mean when I say I was knew within 5 minutes that it wasn't what I wanted

La lastima,que no hay muchas maneras de comprar los partial capo,para el manual.Es muy interesante el libro,asi,como el cd que viene adjunto.Seria bueno,que tambien llevara algun link a videos para ver los partial capo en pleno funcionamiento,o videoclips en el mismo cd.Estoy contenta con el libro,pero,insisto,no localizo los partial capo,y cuando los localizo,veo que tienen precios,desorbitantes,como la sangre de unicornio....
