My son was testified of the dentist no matter what we did nothing worked. We have special visits set up. Then during one appointment they had to put a blanket on him because he was shaking he wasn’t cold just scared. I bought this to see if maybe it would help. And it DID!! He was still shaking but not as bad and said it felt like a hug. After 3 visit using the blanket he is no longer scared of the dentist. He now uses it when he’s having a hard tim sleeping and it puts him right out. It’s amazing!

We bought this blanket for our 14 year old pitbull Rusty. He gets very anxious at times. Storms make him restless. Sometimes he wakes up confused and wanders. And he also wants to sleep with us in our bed constantly. This blanket has remedied all these issues! We put it on him in his bed when he lays down and he falls asleep quickly and sleeps through the night! This is a first for him. At other times when he's just wandering or anxious we get it and put it over him if he's on the couch and he seems to calm down. Its a good weight, easily washable, and made well. We can't say enough good things about it.

I bought for my five year-old, who has always had a very difficult time falling asleep at night (and has always been a very light sleeper). We have tried everything from reading for hours, essential oils, meditation sleep apps, songs, etc. I always had to sit near her bed and hold her hand, or pat her back, it was generally taking 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hr for her to fall asleep. On the very first night with the 5 lb weighted blanket, she fell asleep in five minutes!!!! The next night, she brushed her teeth and put herself to bed - and was asleep when we went to tell her it was time to get into bed! Last night was the third night we've had the blanket - again, asleep in five minutes. Sleeping soundly through the night every time. If I had known we'd have results like this, I would have purchased one of these years ago. And the price is unbeatable!

I bought this for my *very* high energy toddler hoping it would help him sleep a little better. We were having trouble with night wakings and I thought this might help him self-soothe. He loves the blanket, but I can’t say it made a huge difference in his sleep patterns. It maybe helped him get to sleep a little easier, but he still gets up multiple times a night. Not necessarily the blankets fault, just didn’t do quite what I had hoped. It’s well made though, and really my only complaint is that the fabric is kind of low quality. I’ve seen covers on amazon for the weighted blankets though and would probably purchase one if you like a high thread count.

I bought a weighted blanket for myself, that both my kids & I are obsessed with - so I bought them each one of their own. Disappointed. I would Not order this again. The weight doesn’t seem evenly distributed in either blanket compared to mine. Also, I knew the dimensions when ordering, but my son is on the short side (20th percentile for height) and it barley comes to his feet, at 7 years old, starting at the top of his chest.

This blanket was a game changer! Our baby has sensory issues and needs ‘pressure’ to feel comfortable and to sleep. We would swaddle him and place all sorts of blankets rolled around him or across him to give him the sense of pressure. Then I ordered this blanket. He went from sleeping in two hour intervals to SEVEN hours the first night!!!! He is a much happier baby. Obviously very well rested.

I use only for my legs only to relieve my restless leg syndrome and it does help without having a heavy blanket all over my entire body. Material and construction seem very good also.
