Tested with natural gas and it worked fine
Small and nice looking gas leak detector. Installed near the gas stove as I did not have an outlet near the ceiling as it is recommended for natural gas. Tested it by opening the gas and the alarm triggered 10-15 seconds after the gas started leaking.

Honorable company and the detector works well
I recommend this product for natural gas detection. Please note that for "natural gas" it has to be placed on the wall 1 to 3 feet from the ceiling, which may require installing a new electrical outlet if you don't want a cord showing ... for propane gas detection the installation is nearer to the floor where outlets are common. Why? Natural gas rises and propane sinks. I had the privilege of working with Jim because my original order was damaged during shipment. He promptly replaced it and was very professional and pleasant during the process.

Needs Battery Back up.
Make it battery backup. Love the look and convince of this product. My only wish is that it had a battery back up for when I go camping or hunting and switch between generator, battery or shore power in my RV. That would be a major plus.

Looks Good, Works well, and does what it should. It's sleek design makes it fit in any type of home. The loudness can be heard throughout the whole house, so that's good. Would definitely get this again!

The kids are happy.
We have had our gas turned on. Our grandson came in and told his Grandpa there was something wrong. They found the gas cook stove was dialed between "lite" and "off". Gas was leaking into the room. They got it off and over the next few days we heard from each of the kids. We ordered this detector. It was easily installed and very effective in getting our attention and the kids are happy.

NOT TOO HIGH, NOT TOO LOW...JUST RIGHT!!!
As most smoke detectors and gas detectors tend to be mounted on the ceiling, I found this plug-in to be ideal. It sits conveniently right below my cabinet level with my handheld kitchen appliances, giving me better detection of carbon monoxide as well as gas and smoke. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for an inexpensive alternative to battery dependent detectors.

Super convenient
I currently have other Gas protective products and by far this is the most convenient of them all. The Gas Knight is the sleekest, loudest, and least expensive of them all. I am really happy with the product and am looking forward to recommending it to my family and friends. It looks pretty kool in my kitchen and most importantly helping keep the family safe!
