Phaiser’s Warranties Are Excellent
As with all my reviews, the following is a true review.Update, 10/28/2019 Good news: The third earbud replacement did the trick. The earbuds are still retracting, as they were designed to do. The sound quality is still good, and the earbuds are comfortable to wear. If any of this changes, I update my review accordingly.Update, 08/14/2019 Bad news: The earbud left wire on the replacement earbuds no longer retract back into the neckpiece, and a god-awful, hi-pitch, deafening squeal came out of the left earbud. Good news: Phaiser’s staff, and their product warranties, are fantastic. They’re shipping another replacement to me. I’m hoping the third time is the charm.Update, 07/16/2019 Bad news: On 07/10/19, the earbud wires no longer retracted back into the neckpiece. Good news: On 07/15/19, the good folks at Phaiser not only replaced the defective earbuds/headset, they sent me the entire kit-and-kaboodle! And I didn’t have to return the defective headphones; which, by the way, still worked, albeit they wouldn’t retract.Had it not been for Phaiser’s excellent, no hassle, customer service, I would have taken away stars. Not only will I give them a well earned five star rating for their product and service, I’ll continue to remain a loyal Phaiser customer.I bought the Phaiser BHS-950 Bluetooth Headphones to use with my iPod while walking the country trails, and I do a whole lot of walking. I'm a longtime Phaiser fan, and I've purchased so many models of Phaiser headphones since I first discovered the Phaiser brand that I've actually lost track of their number. I still own and use each model, because each offers something a little different in form and/or function, and the BHS-950 is no exception. The BHS-950's allow the very thin, lightweight wires to be retracted into the neckband for storage, and to be easily extended when in use. When extended, the earbud wires remain in place, until you retract them. The earpieces themselves are lightweight and pliable enough to be form fitting, and comfortable enough to be worn for hours without irritating my sensitive ears. The neckband is so unobtrusive and comfortable that I recently wore it for several hours after I'd finished listening to my iPod, until my daughter reminded me that I still had them around my neck. As a senior citizen stuff like that happens more often than I like to admit. The included, easy-to-read and understand user manual fully explains the functions of the various buttons. The slightly raised function buttons, located on both the left and right branches of the neckband, make it easy to find and use them by feel.To my old ears, the quality of sound coming through these earbuds is very good. I listen to a lot of music, and I'm very happy with these earbuds. In my opinion, Phaiser seems to consistently produce a quality product, and that's what they've done with this model. The quality of the included storage case is remarkable. It's a zippered, semi-hard protective shell, and Phaiser has even included a built-in, but removable, charger that can be used to recharge the -950's when you're out and about. I've used these earbuds for several hours and they still held plenty of charge, so I haven't had to use the charging case yet, but it's nice to know it's there if needed. As always, Phaiser offers free earbud replacement tips for all of their earbud products, and the Phaiser quality guarantee is very generous.I would recommend these earbuds to a friend.

Solid Headphones
These are my fourth pair of Phaiser headphones, and not because the previous three died. I just liked them so much that I bought more! I like my wireless earbuds, but I found that the cord kept getting caught in my shirt collar, so I pretty much couldn't turn my head when I was wearing them. These are better for that reason--the collar portion of it doesn't get stuck on whatever I'm wearing. The sound is pretty good, but I find I have to keep twisting the buds back into my ears (which may be an issue with my ears, and not with the buds themselves). All in all, a good pair of headphones that I would buy again.

Working so far
Pros: Works, sounds decent, comes with a case and battery charger, retractable ear buds are a really cool ideaCons: Cover for USB port broke off the second I opened it, sound quality is not noteworthy, no instructions for battery charger, wire retractable ear buds for seem fragile and I don't expect them to last longOverall, these are decent headphones. I like this form factor best for my ear buds. I have had no problem so far. If you don't need a case and battery charger, you can find similar headphones for about 20-25 bucks cheaper.

Flimsy and Cheap
Out of the box the rubber seal on the usb charging port broke off. I drive trucks as a part of work and wear the neckband all day long, after putting the band in and out maybe fifteen times the bud simply fell off the wire. The sound was mediocre, using to talk on the phone worked but it was terribly quiet. Since I listen to a book in one ear while driving going from a decent audiobook sound to not being able to hear a phone call is quite irritating.

Piece of junk...don't buy
Don't waste your money....within a week of using these the left earbud stopped retracting..not a big deal but then it came completely off. I contacted custem service and they offered to replace them so i agreed. Got the second pair and guess what?? The same thing happened same side and everything.....the only good thing i can say is that they did have a long battery life. I was told that i could not return them because i had already returned a pair. They also charged me for the replacement pair without my knowledge( just used my card that i purchased the first pair with) Waste of money now i see they are no longer available...wonder why??? Cheap cheap cheap!!!!!

Value worthy, loud and clear.
The ear buds, once size is determined, fit well and don’t wiggle loose. I like having a button dedicated for specific functions. Pause/play is not the same button as call answer and volume is not the same as track forward and backward. I like that.Sound is great. These can get rather loud. I work for a mowing business part time and these headphones will cover the motor noise from a weedeater of mower easily.I also like the various eq settings and the ability to change them.Battery life is great. I have yet to run them dry.All in all, very much worth the money.

Sound and battery life is great but it doesn’t last a year.
For the first year it worked great. I thought it was the best head phones I’ve ever looked had.The sound was phenomenal, the batter life was great, I used it during my 12hour shifts and it lasted the whole day. It even came in a nice little case for you to carry it in when you travel. About a year later the ear piece retractor broke and won’t retract anymore and the other side stopped working completely then the other side stopped working. Also I could’ve just gotten a malfunctioned one, so I wouldn’t steer away from this completely.

Very cheaply made.
The headset has good sound. But it's a really a cheap headset. If the charging door isn't already broken off when you get it, it will be broken off within one charge. Next the retractable earbuds will not retract within a couple of weeks of use. Not a great set at all. Very cheaply made. I'm very disappointed. I was actually sent, my original, set plus two sets, because of defects. And the third set was just as bad. Don't waste your money.
