UNRELIABLE at the worst time! (Updated)
UPDATED REVIEW - After my review the seller sent an explanation that this was a known problem (so why sell it in the first place?). They sent me an updated version that is supposed to have fixed the problem. I can only assume it will, but I won't be able to test it out until Spring, it's too cold now to ride outdoors.********I had this light for about 5 weeks and until last night it worked fine, as advertised. But last night the light put me in a very dangerous situation. My after work rides are 35 miles over two hours on a paved shared use trail. Now that summer is over, until daylight savings time is over the rides start off as the sun is setting, and end in total darkness. And of course each night the sun is setting earlier. Last night I started off with the strobe as dusk was starting (~an hour into the ride), then switched to low light, and the light went from 99% (fully charged) to 90 then 80, which is what it has done. With about 30 minutes left in my ride, and total darkness now setting in, I switched to maximum light. At that point there was 60% left. 5 minutes after that, while it still read 60%, the light suddenly CUT OFF! DEAD! No light, no display. I was riding ~20 mph and now was in pitch black darkness! I reached down to try to turn it on, nothing. Fortunately I always prepare for the worst and always carry a spare helmet mounted light in case of an emergency (and a third in my jersey pocket on MTB night rides). So I was able to quickly switch it on which saved me from disaster. No clue what happened, but I was angry. When I got back to my truck I plugged it in. The display read 99%. Huh? But it wouldn't turn on. Just to check, I felt it to see if maybe it had overheated - cool to the touch. Besides, I only had it on bright for 5 minutes. 5 minutes later after racking my bike I unplugged it and plugged it back in. 60%. It turned on. Clicked through the buttons, and it then displayed 10%, then 40%, then 10%, then 70%. Great, my new light is schizophrenic.Obviously the light is defective...and it broke in pitch blackness when the charge said 70%.My Amazon return window had closed just a week ago, but the reseller provided me a full refund immediately. I didn't want a replacement. If one failed, I'm not taking a risk on another one. I've had a lot of lights. Some mounting brackets break or I lose a part, some stopped holding a charge, but never has one randomly died without reasonable explanation.

It is great!
I had bad experience with another bike light, which didn't work after 45 minutes in the middel of the dark forest. So I started to use this type on my desk. I switched it on on maximum power. After 2 hours 45 minutes it was still lighting, although the strength was already weaker, but still stronger than any other light on full power. So after the room test I took it with me to my next ride. About the result the attached picture speaks for itself. It is great!

Initial impression
The product seems pretty sturdy and both lights are very bright. The headlight took a while to charge to full capacity at first but it’s held the charge well. The battery meter and option to use it as a battery backup is nice. The rear tail light included was a lot better than I expected. It is bright enough to use as a red light night vision flashlight. I love that it is also rechargeable. Overall I am impressed with the product for the price it was. These are good all around flashlights as well as bike lights.UPDATE: The item is not TSA friendly. It does not have a battery capacity marked on the outside of the case. Since it can be used as a battery bank, it was confiscated at airport security.

Excellent light!
Easy install, arrived fully charged, and it is incredibly bright!I bought the light because I wanted to bike back and forth to work, but I travel home at midnight. On it's lowest setting the light casts a wide, bright beam making it easy to see (and be seen!) what is in front of me. On it's brightest setting it apparently becomes obnoxious to approaching traffic. :-D The included tail light is excellent, and affords me even more visibility to drivers approaching from the rear.I am going to buy another for my wife's bike.

Decent light for price, suspect bracket though.
Decent light, I don't do too much night riding but have started to do more recently. Usually we ride on trails paved and crushed gravel. This will light up the entire width of the trail about 8 ft wide and will light up far enough ahead as well. If someone is riding next to me or near me it lights well enough to light the trail for them too.My biggest complaint is the mounting bracket. It does not looked as solidly crafted as it should be. The screw kept coming out while I was trying to screw the bracket on. Also there’s a nut that I dropped and if I hadn’t seen it the whole thing would have just fallen apart and I would have had no way to fasten the bracket on.The light is easy to take on and off to be able to charge it. I’ve only used it a few times and it seems like the bracket is the weak point in this light. The tail light is nice it has a nice strong clip which comes with a rubber band to loop around your seat tube, or you can clip it to other points.Overall the price and what I’m using it for (occational might time rides) this is a decent light. I’ll probably get a second one for my other bike.

Bracket Loose
The media could not be loaded. Generally a great deal. The light is bright. The various modes are good, the display of percent battery charge is useful. The external out to charge my iPhone while I ride is also a big plus. One negative though is that the bracket is not as tight as it could be. It clamps solidly to my handlebar the but quick release has some slop. As I ride over any road that isn't pancake smooth I hear chatter as the light bounces in the bracket. This can be pretty distracting at times. Don't regret it for the low prices but not ideal either.
