I've used this type of tape before for sealing around my bath. I heated it with the hairdryer to get the initial stick on, then sealed the top and bottom with sealant. From experience it peels really quickly if on it's own and gets wet daily.The bottom sealant has peeled off as the adhesive has unstuck along the bath and now water is getting in so I know it's not going to last much longer.Good for short term bath sealing.I have it along a part of the skirting as well and its great for that. Dry use - recommended.

Easy to use

This is a great product. I read mixed reviews but took the chance and put it on yesterday. It looks great, sticks brilliantly and makes everything look clean and neat. Going around the house now seeing where else I can use it!

A very professional finish that works well around odd curves. I used a hot blow dryer as suggested and installation was simple. I did have to mark and cut out a few areas to fit behind the spouts but it was still easy. It looks 100 times better and does a great job keeping the water out of the edges.

Loved the easy application of this product which I used to trim our newly installed plastic panelled ceiling and existing tiling. Only one short length proved problematic and refused to stay attached but easily solved with the addition of a little contact adhesive. Perfect solution to our DIY en-suite. Recommended

If like me you had a tiler who clearly couldn’t fix a clean and balance line ... distance ranges from 2 mm to 9 mm difference to worktop so this product was a great alternative to tile trim ....

Product itself is a great idea but could do with some improvements.For example the glue on them is garbage as far as I'm concerned despite heating like some users recommend.Solution is to lay down a nice thick bead of good quality silicone first. ''White or clear''.Then lay this down directly on top to and press hard to fit and remove any excess that protrudes afterwards.Let dry for a good 24 hours and then it won't come away easily and give you a nice solid/durable seal.Still recommend overall as it's a much cleaner looking job than traditional silicone method.

This was ordered on 3 July and delivered on 23rd August. Which isn't good and why the overall score has a couple of stars knocked off. Some might be thinking even that is too generous. But obviously there was a mistake somewhere along the line and they did put it right. As for the item itself, it's a good quality bit of kit and I hope that once applied it lasts. Time only will tell that tale.
