Good quality, light up function not convenient for ps4
Bought for ten year old boy. He loves them. He uses a ps4 and they work just great. Be aware, we have a few headsets that have lights, and including this headset they all have a similar issue on ps4: the USB cord that powers the lights on the headset is only about six inches from the end that plugs into your controller. This means that to plug in the headset AND the light up function you would need to have a phone charger (or some other USB power source) right next to your ps4 controller while playing. The lights are really intended for PC users who have the headphone jack and a USB port right next to each other. As far as fit and size, these are great for smaller heads, they come together over the head nice and snug, and the ear prices have good padding. For an adult looking at these, I have not thoroughly listened to the sound quality, but for kids who don't care, my son is nuts about them. They feel sturdy. Sturdy enough for a high energy ten year old who honestly doesn't take care of his things.... Maybe not, but that's where the price got me. For the money, worth it.

Would buy again....
My son was using earbuds with an in-line microphone for his gaming... They worked but not ideal. I found these headsets with large over the ear pads for him to try. They weren't expensive (but look like they cost much more than they are). When he opened them up, it brought a huge smile to his face and immediately tried them out.I tried them myself and they were comfortable. The quality is nice and not cheap feeling. As far as the sound itself, the noise cancelling worked better than expected (but of course, not as good a $400 pair of Bose headphones, but these aren't anywhere near that cost so I would gladly give up that little bit of extra). The headphones have in-line volume control and mute switch, which I really liked. They also use a standard 3.5mm plug, which means that they work with many different devices. The cord itself was on the longer front which was also nice. The LED light-up feature was not something that I love, but I have to say, my son loves it. And, he is the one that is the gamer, which is the target market for these.. so well done on that end.

Good set, little tight but works well
Sound is good and able to pick up direction of action easily. I like the full length mic. Even though the short ones work I prefer this style as can bend and set it close. Short style make me feel like I need to shout, No problem here. Only issue and reason for 4 stars is the fit. I have a head on a large size and the way the band is made makes for a tight fit. With out adjusting it would hurt for long game sessions. The good thing though is the band is a solid piece that can handle self adjustment. I needed to stretch it out a bit to make it comfortable which is scary to do as you but you can see the metal band when it enters the head phone so I new it was strong before trying. Ended up working well and more comfortable yet secure after adjusting it. All in all good set for the price.

Pros and cons
This head set is great for those who are on a budget but if you need pros and cons here is my experience with it so farPros•sound quality•cable length•comfortable•affordableCons•headset light color. there is no use for the usb to light up the headset for console players unless your controller has a usb for it due to the aux and usb being the same length (maybe no longer than 5-6 in) would be better if it was separate (I own a elite Xbox one controller)•mic quality. sounds muffled to those who are in game chat or party•cable length. (again because it can also be a pain with management or getting caught on something)•Shipment or production. I do not know how or who thought it was a good idea to ship headsets with only a thin plastic cover with no bubble wrap or any protection to keep the product damaged. And as a result the head set now has a screw loose inside rolling around if the head set moves (Please fix that)As for an actual rating I would give it 5/10

Great performance for the price!
This was a surprisingly good product for the money. Sound Quality- Emulated surround sound in games like Sea of Thieves and Anthem are great, not super great but crisp highs and decent bass get the job done, audio and mic quality are also good without causing echo. The controller is decent and well placed so it doesn't bounce against your chest. The mic switch is handy. I wish that it would turn off the light at the end of the mic when the mic is muted. Had that feature on a previous headset and loved the visual of when my mic was muted or not. Lightweight. The USB is only for the lights. Not required or used for any other purpose. It was nice that they threw in an adapter to go from a single to a split 1/8" plugs. Will update if anything changes.

Lower your expectations
So, I got the head set, it has a USB STRICTLY for the light up dragon thing. There are two other cords that are vital to its use. An audio cord and a headset jack. They don’t work if both are plugged in to my desktop. And sometimes, it just STOPS working. It’s so frustrating. I work from home and game a lot. So the need for these headphones is a high priority. I attempted requesting a return, because there was no option to replace, which was truly what I wanted. This product was either defective, or they just stuck. So, it’s been probably about a month since my attempt to contact the seller to seek a resolution. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. My request was completely ignored.Other than just not working sometimes, headset is decent. I wish the noise cancellation was better.. with the issues I have with it, I couldn’t give two *h*t* about the light up dragon. But please, everyone should understand, you spend $40 or whatever these cost, you get $40 customer-service and $40 quality.
