I bought this for the sun but so far only used it for the rain (UK weather!), so can’t comment on the UV side of things. But it’s super light and small which is exactly why I chose it. I’ve knocked off one star because the handle doesn’t stay locked in when holding (or hanging) from the strap, so it always extends. It’s a minor thing but it means you can’t hold it from the handle or put the loop round your hand as it just opens. Don’t know if this is just a flaw on this particular one or if it’s in all of them. Otherwise, seems ok. It’s also flat, not round which is another reason I chose it.

Spring to open and close very tight so was difficult to operate

Decent little umbrella. So easy to carry in your handbag and it was pretty good against strong wind. Worth the price to be able to carry an umbrella with you easily at all times.

Lightweight(218g) if you are watching your hand luggage limit and eadily carried in dress pocket. Sun shade and skin protected from the UVA and UVB rays. Be mondgul it will only cover some of your body so sun protection clothes or creams will still be beneficial depending on your activity.

Really good value for money.
