Kiss, Kiss Good Night Board book – August 27, 2013

This short, sweet, slightly over-sized board book is a nice choice for bedtime. The illustrations are soft and inviting. Each animal gets its own loving goodnight from its mother. Maybe not a classic like Goodnight Moon (but really, what could be?), but perfect for bedtime with your little ones.

I first became familiar with this book from leading baby story time at the library. This is now a go-to gift for new parents. I just love the gentle rhymes and all around coziness of this book. (Also note, it was written by a children’s poet laureate, so better writing than a lot of board books out there). Lovely book.

This book is larger than many 'board books', and has a soft, somewhat squishy cover. My guy LOVES it. He loves the animals and I love the rhyming cadence of the book. It makes is easy to read, and has become a nighttime tradition. Personally as a parent, it is my favorite to read - the pictures are so cute. My guy really liked that the animals are recognizable (especially the cats), and loves pointing to them.

This is my favorite children's board book. It is sweet and fun to read. I enjoyed it so much that I have purchased several to give as gifts.

after borrowing this book from the library many times I decided we needed to own it. its about how different animal mamas say goodnight to their babies. each page has just a few short sentences that rhyme and are fun to read. this is a perfect book for babies and young toddlers.

Super cute bedtime story. We took it out of the library and I had to buy it because we read it at every nap and bed time! Beautiful illustrations and lovely text.
