Put a smile in every drink with Alexi Ricci's Happy Ice Balls

Not perfect, but with a little work it's doable. Does the job and especially for what it costs, I'm giving it 4-stars.
It's an ice tray, it does the job: it makes ice. Although not perfectly since it's a pain fill these up, sandwich the two floppy halves, and put in the freezer without spilling, but the end result is worth keeping the product. You end up having four spheres with clearly-visible seams around the center, which can be erased by rubbing your (clean) finger along the seams to melt them down. What you can't erase, however, is the mis-shapened top. The water will expand as it freezes so you have to gauge how much to under-fill them. Too under-filled and you have a crater on top. Not under-filled enough and you end up with nipples that aren't as easy to melt down as the seams mentioned earlier. In the end, I didn't buy this product for the looks. I bought it because the spheres are small enough to fit the disposable cups at work and because the shape would cool my iced coffee without watering it down in 30 seconds flat. With a little bit of patience, you can perfect the spheres and use them for a small party. Hint: use hot water from a hot pot or water cooler dispenser if you want perfectly clear glass-like spheres, otherwise they're cloudy like regular ice cubes.

You will never be able to get it perfectly round.
You will never be able to get it perfectly round. Either I always over fill it leaving it looking more like a Lego or I under fill it which makes it look weird. Also you have to be very careful when putting it in your freezer as it has a tendency to leave but for the price I paid and just wanted to make my drinks at home look cool it is pretty decent.

Not perfect but if its its cheap enough why not
Work but a little hard to fill. The top half easily comes apart and starts to float when filling. This causes all four spheres to be connected and imperfect. But just fill it up carefully and run some water over the sphere before use and you're golden.

This product is made well and is good quality, but take note that the size is wrong. The Ice Balls are claoser to 1-7/8" Dia. like many of the other trays available. I was hoping to find a tray that made slightly smaller ones. They are not 1.5in dia. as advertised.

But its worth it if you like large spherical ice
They could be a little easier to fill, to get the true shape you need to fill up all the way and there is always some water on top of the mold and breaking it open can be a bit tricky. But its worth it if you like large spherical ice.

So easy to get out of tray
After 60 years, it is a treat to have a different shaped ice cube that is large enough, it does not melt fast and water down my drinks. So easy to get out of tray.

works and looks nice
This product makes a nice sized ice ball that will fit into a liquor cup. You can pour the water into the holes at the top a little more than half way and get a half circle with a flat bottom. If you want a perfect circle use hot water and don't fill the case to the top (the water freezes and gives the ice ball an antenna). I used it already and really like it

Not the best design
Hard to fill. If you fill too much the pieces separate and water leaks out. Water lays on the top from filling and then freezes making separation harder. Not the best design . I will keep looking.
