Nice, weighty feel in my hand
Full disclosure - I haven't shaved my entire face with this yet as it is winter and I am currently rocking a full beard. But I did use it this morning to clean up the edges and it is smooth and sturdy and the included blades are sharp as hell. I bought it to replace an old Dovo Shavette which I liked very much, but I wanted something a little heavier. This seems to fit the bill. Also, I like the way the blades load versus the Shavette. So far I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks.

highly recommend for someone looking for this type of razor for any application
This razor seems to be very good quality. If you are looking for a razor of any kind, there are really only three things that are important. Weight, balance and blade sharness. The blades are sharp, duh they are razor blades and if you don't like them for some weird reason you can get your own. The razor has good weight, the joints are strong and tight and the thing balances well in your hand so you can feel good with precision.

Great Razor i dont have a giant beard but i am also just learning to use razors so it is a great Razor so far. Got a few cuts on myself but I am learning

Perfect! Just what I wanted.
I am sending my very expensive Dovo razor in to get the curve out of the spine. I bought this BRV Shavette to use in the mean time. This shaver has a nice heft to it, and the blades are wicked sharp... all for under 20 bucks. Wow, am I pleased.

Very good straight razor
This is a very good straight razor. You can see immediately the quality. It holds very well the blade and I got a BBS shave. Highly recommended.

The product looked like what I order. Has nice wieght and feel. So far everything is great and would reorder if need to.

Unusable
Razor arrived jammed into the handle past the spine which made it impossible to open. Couldn't open it even with pliers.
