John Wick Vol. 1 Kindle & comiXology

I thought this was an actual book. The way I read it that’s how it sounded. It’s a comic book. If that’s what you like...go for it. I’m glad this is one of the few that I’ve bought on my Kindle. If there were a zero rate or a negative star that’s what I’d give it.

I expected more. Overall the story isn't bad but it's not great either, simply average. The artwork for the covers are all excellent. Unfortunately many of the panels are undetailed and look like a rush job to finish a book rather than taking pride in the art. Paneling could have been better, especially with the hardcover spine.You get a little more backstory on John Wick, but I wish they had covered something we're all wondering. Why he quit? What was his first job? Maybe how he met his wife? Maybe the relationship with Ms. Perkins? How does Viggo know John?There's just so many story lines that fans want to know, and this comic series (issues 1 through 5) don't address any of them. You get a few insights... but no real answers.

Good would have preferred if it was sealed or protected some how

I sent this comic as a gift to my boyfriend and it arrived absolutely destroyed. There is not a single page that is still secure in the binding. I am extremely disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!! Will not be wasting my money again.

It was an enjoyable read but it was hard to get into it. Feels different from the movies but interesting nonetheless.

Great book! Highly enjoyed it was like watching the movie again. If you enjoy John wick definitely check this out.

I like the John Wick franchise and this is just amazing. When are more John Wick comics coming out? The artwork was amazing by the way. Recommend it if you are a John Wick fan.

This has a great story and great art. Worth the buying.

I love this book. All the action from movies, condensed into one book. The legend of John Wick begins here.A young man soft spoken, but with deadly intention and even deadlier skills. He is looking for revenge but people are taking notice of this deadly new player. He has two choices join up or be wiped out.I love everything about this book. The artwork is great, and looks exactly like the movies. The action is awsome, and a great story as well. If you are a fan prepare to become a bigger fan.Finally there is a cover gallery of all the variant covers of all five issues. This is not quite an origin story but a younger John Wick learning the ropes, the rules oh and kicking butt from cover to cover.

Outside of the John Wick licence, this book has barely any merit. The art is sub-par at best and (what should be) unpublishable at best, guns are drawn as two rectangles and characters are often drawn without faces. The writing is a standard campy action story but misses the spirit of the John wick films.even if you are a John Wick fan it's not really worth buying this book especially considering the inflated retail price for five issues compared to Marvel and DC. I can't recommend this book to anyone,

Nice hard bound copy but was counting on a more extensive history of Mr Wick.. The illustrations are very good but the story is quite short . I feel this is a "cashing in" product from the successful John Wick movie series

Great film

So far its a really good story and it works as a kind of origin for the legend and im looking forward to see if we get the pencil bar scene as a comic strip.
