Sterling Edwards has designed a series of brushes that not only allow you to create beautiful paintings but are made to last and are affordable. Brushes in this "Signature" brush collection are made with brush heads with fine nylon brush filament hair. �This filament holds just enough color to deliver excellent results without deluging the paper with too much water. The filament hair is characterized by its excellent shaping abilities and its incredible brush response which allows the brush head to snap back to shape after each stroke. The slim profile of the flat brushes allow controlled applications of color while maintaining a sharp edge allowing you to "cut-in" shapes without difficulties. The round brushes are excellent for fine detail or large wash strokes. The shape and resiliency maintains a crisp point through each stroke creating a harmonious relationship between the eye-paper-brush. Sterling's trademark blue plastic handles eliminate the aggravation of paint cracking and chipping off the brush handle. All brush handles are attached to the brush head with a seamless rust proof ferrule to insure long time painting pleasure.

Good brushes that maintain their fine point. And the tip of the handle is great for scratching out paint (I forget what it's called) on the painting. I have - and would again - bought more.

my fav brush
i bought sterlings' set of brushes when i 1st atarted WC in 2014i love all of them but this one i have used so much i no longer know what size it is as the name/size has worn off the handle. i ADORE this brush, the others are super too but for me this is my go-to brush. it still performs just like it did the very first day i used it.
