Momentum Masters: A Roundtable Interview with Super Traders Kindle Edition

I was so excited to read this book since you were getting 4 different point of views from supertraders but they all answer the same very vague useless answers if you read the first few pages you read it all its a very repetitive question and answer just rephrased. Oh and of course they are selling their products lol don't waste your time there's no way this book for 5 stars from a person that was actually looking for improvement in trading.

Great little read. No wonder Mark Minervini and David Ryan teamed up for the Master Trader Program. Their responses are uncannily similar. These guys put so much focus on perfect entries, perfect setups. Two of the key takeouts for me from this are:1) Try to get profitable from day 1 - i.e. better entries2) Tighten my stops. On analyzing my US account, my stops are way too wide, vs. my local account.

I read almost every stock-related book that comes out. I truly feel this one is underrated. It's a phenomenal resource for position traders, holding trades for a month or more. It's still helpful for swing traders to a degree, but best for longer term holders. The interview format is more readable and useful than expected. It's nice to read something different in a field where the same information is repackaged over and over. Great book! One to read a few times at least. I've returned to it many times in the years since it was published. Thanks, gentlemen!

I really like the way material on growth stocks and trading in general is presented. The best books I've read and have just ordered his 4th book. They give explanations of how to trade a growth from, how to find it, when to buy it and when to sell. Between his 3 books, which I have already read 2 times completely through, I have learned more about price and volume action than any book I have ever read. Can't say enough about how good these books are!

This is a terrific book. There is something about having top traders answering questions that nearly everyone has that brings out the essence of what you need to know. Minervini is a great teacher-- he explains clearly and to the point without excess verbiage.I've read many dozens of trading and investment books-- O'Neill, Livermore, Sperendeo, Minervini, Schwager, Loeb, Fisher Philip and Ken, Covel, etc etc etc. This is one of the best. One to reread and read. With more experience you'll get more out of it. Even a few charts to illustrate some notable gain and loss trades of the participants.

It was a good book and provides some insight into how those that make good money at trading do it. I would have preferred some more detail into the methods and signals, but if you have enough trading experience you can read between the lines and get a good feel for what they are doing. Ultimately being successful at anything requires dedication and a lot of work. If that is the only thing you glean from the book than that still is a huge step in the right direction.

I'm an experienced investor/trader. In my humble opinion, this book really stands out when comparing to Market Wizard and other Trading Interview books and alike because the author chose an unique approach and asked momentum master to answer over 130 relevant trading questions. The layout of information is superb. I see four different trading perspectives for each question. I already have half of the book highlighted.This book is a must read book for investor/trader at any level.To Mark,Thank you for writing such an informative book. I bought another copy for a fellow trader.

Connects the dots for you if you've read (and re-read) How to Make Money in Stocks by William O'neil, Trade Like a Stock Market Wizard by Mark Minervini, and just about all other growth momentum stock books. Its amazing how much value you are getting purchasing this book to get into the minds and thought process of these legendary traders...The discipline, thought process, perseverence, and mindset approach to the market is "timeless" in itself and should be utilized throughout any craft any one person may try and master.

This book is different to many books, the discussions share so many golden nuggets to help any trader with their mindset, strategies and rules. I was referred to this book because I have Mark Minervini's other 2 excellent trading books and knowing other successful traders were being featured it is a book not to be missed!

This book is one of the best I have read when it comes to answering questions about trading that are just not covered elsewhere. Although it is set up in the form of questions with each of the authors giving their own perspective for the same question, don't let that put you off. In fact this very feature made the book very different to other trading and interview with traders books out there. It also made this book a very effective learning tool. Time spent on this book will be rewarded many times over.

Invaluable advise from master traders. Been a fan of Minervini for some time and this book is another excellent read from him.

This book is just the best one!!!! In stock trading, the more experience you have, the more new questions you constantly get and this amazing book has almost all answers!!!! All these Momentum Masters did a great job to help us understand better how they achieved their super performance. I recommend it for everyone who is serious about stock trading. This book is great additional to classic William O'Neil book "How to make money in stocks".
