The Original Slinky Brand Collector's Edition Metal Original Slinky Kids Spring Toy

We are an active duty family stationed overseas in Japan and my children would get plastic slinky's as prizes from school that always broke within one day. I told my kids about the real slinky I had as a child and that it lasted a long time. My kids really wanted a real slinky, so I ordered two of them for Christmas stocking presents. They went over very well and the product was very heavy duty and made to last. The bonus for me is that they came "blued" meaning black instead of the old silver color. The kids loved them. Thank you for sending me a very well made and good product!!!

I loved this little slink spring as a child, and figured it'd make an amazing gift for the child in an adult. It's a nise, sturdy slinky, and the spring is made solid by small clipped edges that are fused into the mettle. Can you say no tangling anyone, come on, that's the best. I've seen people say that it leaves a residue, but I have not seen one, and the small box it was packaged in is nice and simple to wrap the gift in. Perfect for the stocking, or birthday gift if you can't think of anything. I love. Going to have to stop myself from steeling it back from the person I gave it too.

You know that video where someone has a slinky on their tall pole bird feeder and the squirrel keeps dropping down to the ground and can never get into the bird feeder? IT WORKS! After I "laced" this around the pole of my bird feeder, a squirrel happened by a few minutes later, and he took a few looks at the slinky, and ran off without attempting it! I bet anything there's some neighbors who have done similar! Yes, it rusts when exposed to the elements, but if it's only being used outside and not for kids, then it makes no difference to me! The birds can enjoy their feed and suet without the pesky squirrels!

A bit small but worth the purchase

I recently played with an original style slinky at a friends house, and decided i wanted one, just for fun. this claimed to be that, but it wasn't - the originals were a metal which looked like stainless steel, and this is painted black. I have no idea why the manufacturer thought this paint was a good idea - maybe they were using metal which corroded or something. But this is missing the shimmering iridescence or my friends slinky. Unlike other reviews claimed, it IS the same size as a the original slinky - you can find the specs online, and I measured mine since it does seem smaller. I think those of us who had them as kids got bigger; the slinkys didn't get smaller.

I got two, for my 5 yo and 2 yo. They both love the slinky and play with it quite a bit. Of course they got other gifts for Christmas, but considering how cheap this was, I got lots of bang for my buck. It is of better quality than most I have seen and has a coating on it so that it is not sharp on the edges. Just get one!

Bought this to see if it would help with squirrels on my bird feeder pole. It did help deter, but was not the end-all answer. Definitely a deterrent though. Product is sturdy and as described.

Purchased this a birthday gift for my neighbour's daughter as per her request. This slinky seems like the original authentic ones. I liked that it was made in the US (bought this before all the US/Canada trade war). Seems like a good quality slinky!

商品自体は、子供が欲しがっていたものであり、また、なかなか手に入らない状況であったので、充分に満足しておりますが、届いた品物は全体に錆が浮いており、そのままでは触れない状態でした。錆落としをしましたが完全には取り切れず、手につかない状態となったところで子供に渡しました。出品者のPositronicさんに問い合わせてみましたが、出荷等の手続きには問題はなかったと返信があっただけであり、やや対応には不満足です。輸入品の場合は仕方がないのでしょうか。

Livraison rapide. Boîte légèrement endommagée et décolée sur un des côtés mais le slinky en bonne état. Par contre il est un peu plus petit que le slinky original de mon enfance.
