Charmlite 4W LED Filament Candelabra Bulb 2700K Warm White, 45 Watt Replacement, Fine Tip

We bought a very old house. There are some very old fixtures, and some newer fixtures that look, well, old. LED's have been a good way to increase light output while reducing the power usage. Some fixtures hide some of the unique appearances of LED bulbs. Some don't. As a result, I've been looking for a candelabra bulb that looks more like an old, clear incandescent bulb.I ordered four of these for an indoor fixture to replace some LED bulbs that were just plain ugly even though they were clear LED's.Output is excellent. Might be better than the LED's that I had before as I think the lower white part of the LED bulb blocked some light from that area from shining downward. The metal part between the threaded area and the glass portion of the bulb sticks out just a little bit. An incandescent bulb sits down just a little more into the faux candle parts on my fixture, but it is not huge problem. But, because it isn't perfect and the price for a bulb is a little high, I rate this as four stars.I will certainly buy more of these for some of our unique fixtures.

This bulb is exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I were having this argument for the past 2 years. He would bring home energy saving bulbs for our candelabra and I would not let him put them on because they looked really messy. So we were thrilled to find this LED bulb that does not have a shell on the base and they look beautiful on my fixture, just like the old traditional bulbs. In addition it does not give out much heat. I ordered one first and will order more.

These are excellent LED bulbs. They are the only 2700K 40W equivalent LED candelabra bulbs I found that look elegant in any fixture including chandeliers as they closely emulate the look of filament bulbs. Everything else had ugly heatsinks and drivers that took up half the bulb in unattractive plastic covered bases. If you have fixtures for which bulb aesthetics is a primary concern this is the bulb for you. They are not cheap, but they were worth it for our applications.

Nice bulbs, but don't buy these if you're looking for yellow light as I was. The light produced is white. I haven't had them long enough to speak to longevity...

Wow, these bulbs are awesome! They look nice and neat on my chandelier just like normal incandescent bulbs . I originally had a different brand of LED bulbs, but they were not very pretty.This will probably be the most going bulb in the future as the campaign for power savings and technology progress. (and will probably totally replace the incandescent bulbs) Thank you Charm lite for creating such a great product!

I bought a single bulb to test it out and see how I like to read with it. The base is minimal so I got good light on my reading material. However, the bulb died after less than 3 months with occasional use in a bedside table reading lamp. I liked it when it worked.

It looks nice and has a decent light but the one I received buzzes so loudly I had to remove it. There are better LED candle bulbs available that don't buzz.Update: They don't last long either, both of the bulbs I had crapped out after 18 months of low usage.

Perfect! Couldn't be nicer!Finally an excellent replacement for the traditional bulbs. These bulbs look even nicer than my regular bulbs. The only issue if you don't like the yellow filament strings when the bulb is off.
