Detour Simple Caramel Peanut and Chocolate Chip Caramel Nutrition Bars, 1.5 oz, 18 Bar

I always take one with me when I'm out and about. This helps to keep me from eating an unhealthy snack or meal when I'm running errands. Also, they are not too sweet!

As a person who goes the to gym everyday and has eaten many different brands of protein bars. I'd say this one is pretty good. It is not as dense as regular protein bars (hence the "simple" in the name), and I like the taste. Granted, they're not as good as Quest bars, but they are more affordable and are sometimes sold at Costco (though, don't accidentally buy the original version if you are looking for the simple version, originals are more dense). If you are a person who doesn't eat protein bars usually or haven't tried many, you may find this okay/not bad. I do like chocolate over peanut butter just a little bit. I dunno, maybe I just get tired of peanut butter faster, haha. Though I let another friend of mine try both versions and she prefers the chocolate over the peanut butter, just fyi.

These are tasty and a good snack that lets me feel like I am having a cheat.They are about the size of a snickers bar and to me twice as tasty. I love that there is not tons of sugar. It says gluten free but there is Soy.I use these for dessert at night. Fills that late night sweet craving.

I prefer the flavor of the original detour bars

I used to get these at Costco and got hooked on them! Love that these bars taste natural and not over processed like many protein bars do.

Local store quit carrying these. Is manufacturer still making them? We would like regular mail deliveries. They are a bit expensive, but taste very good and are nutritious.
