They have a charging port, music is played via Bluetooth using your streaming device. Android devices work just fine.

Are use it with my iPhone 11. The volume is sufficient but not really loud. Depending on where you set the headset near your ears, you can adjust the volume as well . When I really want to hear some thing or it’s noisy, I will set the air bud in my ear and then it’s fine. I love them, my only complaint, is there a bit big around my head and the part that sometimes gets caught in my collar. I was never able to find smaller ones.
