Lovely (and well written) book, gorgeous series. I can't fault it.
This my favourite (or second most favourite) series, within its genre; one that I will certainly read it again - something I rarely do.The series centres on the lives of three sisters, during an one year span. Mia is the main character in the first book, and Kiki and Nee in the two subsequent ones. The story flows, from one book to another, so that each book is more like a sequel of the previous one. Note: They really have to be read in order! There is lots of good things about this series:- this is a TRUE series, in which all the characters, major and minor ones, reappear in each book, often enough, for us to know where they are in their lives. In contrast, in most series, the main characters in one book, only have a token presence in the others, only enough to justify the designation as a series. Minor ones, disappear all together.- there are many characters, and they are all very likeable (or become so, as the story evolves). Despite of their number, we get to know them well, even the minor ones - something which is very rare. The sense of family, or rather, extended family is very strong.- While each book, has a different sister as the main character, the plot works as one - like three smaller rivers, joining to form a larger one. This, the author has done very well, and even my impossible-to-shut-up analytical mind, was satisfied.- the descriptions are very apt, and it is impossible not to fall in love with Butterfly Cove and the Butterfly House, and not be drawn to the renovations. Also, one wishes to spend sometime there as a guest, and return in every season, to experience the changes.- what a pleasure! And rarity! Here we get a sense of an editor, or an author, who understands not only plot and story telling, but also language and grammar. The flow is smooth and uninterrupted. The story is always in foreground (both, the author and the narrator don't interrupt the flow). The intended meaning of each sentence is clear. The commas, oh, the commas are in the right position (how rare is that), making the reading and the understanding so much easier. (Unfortunately, so many authors don't understand that, by leaving commas out, they may also leave a sentence open to multiple interpretations or a reader forced to go over the text, again and again, trying to grasp the meaning.)All in all, within its genre, and intended audience, I can't fault these three books. So, I have to give a 5 for each book, and a 5 for the series.P.S. My comments for this book applies to the entire series, so I'll cut and paste for each book

Beautifully Written
From the cover I thought this would be a cute cozy read, but it is far beyond that. An engrossing story about grief in its many forms and the power of love, friendship and nature to bring light back into life. A wonderful read with good characters and a gorgeous setting. Highly recommend

Very sweet
The main characters have both been through loss and seem to meet and help each other at just the right time. The seaside setting is inspiring too. I'll read the rest in the series.

Beautiful and heartfelt!
I truly loved this story! The rawness of Mia's grief was related able as well as her strong spirit and determination. Daniel was also a poignant character and I loved how they were exactly what the other needed. I loved every page!

Uplifting read
Is a very nice reading about love, lost and friendship. I started reading this book because my next reading book is going to be very difficult one. This book didn't disappoint me. Is full of new beginnings and happy endings.

I LOVED this book
I LOVED this book. I loved all the characters and can't wait to read the next in the series. I love how strong the heroine is and how she can take charge. I also loved how she knew a relationship took a lot of work and that it wasn't always rainbows and roses, but she knew it was worth it. Stellar book, Ms. Bennett!

Heartbreak, heartaches, sadness, consolation, joy, love
There are enough of every emotion anyone could ever feel in this book and it's sequel to write several novels. Sarah did a great job of smoothing out and untangling the webs that were weaved in this book and it's sequel. Get the sequel because this story is not over. I could hardly wait to read the next chapter. Will there be a third book? I hope so.

Light and fun, a good read!
Light, happy, romantic summer read. Kept my interest characters develop nicely as the story goes on. I liked it alot. I didn't want a heavy, stressful read, this is just he opposite of that. I'm a sucker for English countryside set stories such as this.

A second chance in life and love.
A contemporary novel set in the West coast of England. Mia is a widow and two years on she begins the task of restoring a dilapidated house turning it in to a Bed and Breakfast enterprise.Daniel is a famous London photographer escaping from his destructive lifestyle. He finds himself entwined in Mia’s world. They help each other with their issues. They are pulled in to a circle of people who show genuine love and affection for people.I found that there were some places where the sentences didn’t seem to make sense and some points were gone over again and again and again……On the whole though it was an enjoyable read.

Great read!
Mia's guesthouse is very much a work in process but who doesn't love a property that has bags of potential? I fell in love with it as much as Daniel does when he first enters the house. I could easily visualise all the love hard work that goes into making it a guesthouse.Mia and Daniel both come to Butterfly Cove to heal. To a certain extent they are running away from things but as we all know, sometimes we need to get away and recharge as well as revalue our lives which is exactly what both of these characters need to do.In the main there really is some fabulous characters throughout the story. I loved Mia's neighbours and so wish I could have neighbours like that living near me. They are like a second set of parents to Mia and the bond between them was so heart warming. For the genre of book, the author still touches on some tough topics of which is done very skilfully without it taking away from the wonderful romance aspect of the story. It makes for a very current read and I was so invested in the characters lives that the first thing I did after finishing the book was to go and buy the second!Sunrise At Butterfly Cove is a wonderful story that will leave you feeling all warm and cosy inside. I found it totally enchanting. If you love to be transported to idyllic locations where you can totally lose yourself into the story, then this is the perfect read.

A fictional location you can't help but wish was real
This was my first Sarah Bennett book and it definitely won’t be my last (in fact I read the sequel to this book within 48 hours of finishing it!).When a book makes me wish a fictional location was real I know I’ve found a gem, and this book certainly falls into this category. I would love to go and stay at Mia’s guesthouse in Butterfly Cove, it sounds so peaceful and idyllic. I’d also love to meet some of the characters, especially Mia’s neighbours who are simply wonderful people. This is the first in a trilogy and briefly introduces the characters that will be the focus of the other books. I was so pleased when I realised this as it means catching up and spending more time with the characters I came to love through reading this book. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Building a future together
I found the characters charmingly real - Mia looks scruffy when she first meets her man, and both of them are haunted by troubles in the recent past. This is a feel-good story with plenty of positivity.
