Your hands can be four times more at risk than your eyes or body to radiation exposure during fluoroscopic procedures. These attentuation gloves protect your hands form direct and scatter radiation. Made of a synthetic rubber formulation that avoids the proteinaceous sensitivities associated with natural latex. Gloves are lead free. AliMed Radiation attenutation gloves are only .23 mm thick, permitting the greatest dexterity, sensitivity and flexibility. Gloves attentuate 47% at 60 kVp to 27% at 120 kVp in the primary X-ray beam, in accordance with ASTM Test Method F2547-06. AliMed Radiation Attenuation Gloves are packed sterile and have a three-year shelf life from date of manufacture. Synthetic rubber formulation is lead free and non-toxic so there's no need for special disposal to comply with EPA heavy-metal toxicity guidelines. Not made with natural rubber latex.
