I have never left a bad review in my life, but I have to speak out about this. This product (plastic table cover) ruined my table. It left oily streaks all over the wood that won't come out. I spent $50 on this product, which then damaged a $500 table! This cover can't be good for the environment either. What exactly is coming out of the plastic and leaving such a residue that no cleaner will remove it? If you want to protect your table, get a glass table top instead. This is seriously the worst product I have ever purchased from Amazon.

I don't know how this can be sold! Took the finish off of our brand knew table and the smell that came with it was clearly dangerous. We couldn't go near the room for days without getting nausea and dizzy. We only had it on the table for 2 weeks. Shame on them for selling such a horrible product!

All our furniture has or had heavy glass tops which we found were very expensive to move when we purchased a new home so I found this as an alternative to protect the tops of our wood furniture. I first ordered this to cover our wood topped kitchen dinette table. There was no problem unrolling it even though it was delivered mid-winter and I trimmed it slightly to fit with a pair of kitchen shears. There was a very slight plastic smell when first opened which dissipated in about a day or two. The gauge is very thick, the product does not stretch or contract, nor does it stick to the surface. It wipes down easily after use. I do not experience any damage to the wood surface as described in other reviews though I peel it back occasionally to prevent it from staying in the exact same position permanently.I subsequently purchased more of this product for other tables and a desktop with the same success. The smaller pieces for side tables did curl a bit in the corners and I initially used the provided sticky dots to hold it down.Tableware does not slide easily over this as it would glass but I use place mats or coasters to overcome that.I do not place very hot bake ware or cookware directly on it so I can't say how it responds to heat, but I wouldn't do that on glass either. Very happy and highly recommend; I will never buy glass again.

This product is very poor quality and very thin. And smell is horrible. It iş not as shown on the website. I wont use it.

This table protector does exactly what I needed on my oak table. Does a great job of preventing sliding of things placed on the table. This feature I didn't even consider until I put the protector on the table.

First I was delighted by the careful packaging of the product. Obviously people who care. (Included was a tape measure) I was trying to find a thick clear vinyl to lay on my inside bamboo garden bench to protect it from the tabletop water fountain. I found this on Amazon and was so happy that it was already cut to size. Fit my bench with a slight overhang that I thought was perfect to keep any water that splashed out from damaging my bench. I bought the 16" x 48". It unrolled easily with no wrinkles. Fit was great. I love my inside garden and knowing my bench is protected. Very happy with this vinyl and I highly recommend this product.

I have now purchased two of these: One for our glass dining room table, and one for our glass kitchen table, and both in the clear (rather than the translucent/patterned).The topper for the dining room table happened to be listed as being the exact right size for the table. It isn't. It isn't cut correctly, and is more trapezoidal than rectangular. This is the reason for the deduction of one star. I ordered this one in the 2.0 mm size.The topper for the kitchen table did not come in the exact size, so I ordered the closest size up. I ordered this one in the 1.5 mm size. I did not measure to see if the sizing was accurate because all that mattered was that it was larger than my table.Both are easy to cut to the right size and look much better than other protective solutions I tried. I can see straight through to the floor, which is what I wanted (why have a glass table, only to hide it??). The provided dots are pointless with tables are large as these, so I haven't used them. There are definitely air bubbles, but they don't bother me. The table is protected and you can still see that it's a glass table.There was a bit of a smell when I first unwrapped the package, but it dissipated quickly. If I had the need, I would definitely order again.

It does what its intended to do, BUT i bought 47 in round , same as my table and it isnt cut to size...its off(a bit small) so it bothers me, it isnt the worst but it needs to be cut a little better...easier than a glass table top and easy to clean..emailed customer service to advise..a bit upsetting no response.

Je n’étais pas certain que ce serait bien sûr ma table et finalement elle fait parfaitement. L’épaisseur permet d’ajouter à la durabilité de la nappe et de la table. Au début, elle a un peu les plis du transport( elle arrive enroulée dans une enveloppe de plastique et dans une boîte de carton d’environ 5 pouces de diamètre). Mais je n’ai pas eu besoin de la réchauffer pour qu’elle s’ajuste à la table. Je l’ai seulement mis à l’envers de la courbe. La nappe se nettoie très bien avec de l’eau et du vinaigre. Très facile d’entretien.

The PVC plastic fits my table perfectly. Makes my table look clean and nice. I find that the dishes sticks to the plastic but I'm thinking after some wear and tear that will become less. I would give 5 Stars for quality BUT only gave 4 Stars due to price. Way to much for a piece of plastic!! However, I do like it.

I inherited an amazing antique dining room suite and the thought of covering up the gorgeous wood broke my heart. I was hoping these covers would allow me too ow off the craftsmanship and protect the surface and I couldn't be more impressed. The quality is great, these are thick rolls, that cut easily to fit the top of any object. They took a couple days to fully flatten out, we put some heavy books and cases of pop on them and they were PERFECT! I would recommend this to anyone.

The plastic fit the table perfectly. It flattened out within a day. We’re extremely happy with it. We even put photos underneath for something for the kids to look at. Thick and heavy material too.

Finding a tablecloth you like is always difficult. I bought a new table that has grooves in the top and is so pretty. This table protector is so thick that the grooves are covered nicely so we can do puzzles without it being annoying by pieces tilting into the grooves and the best part of ALL IS.......... it still shows the gorgeous table top because it is transparent!!!! So happy I bought this.

Bought this to protect an Ikea desk that my daughter uses as an arts & crafts table! Great product! Unrolled well without curling up on me again and protects well!

Fantastic product. It makes my solid wood table looks great. We bought it to protect our table from dents and scratches as we have three small kids. This table does what we expected it to do and then there is a bonus: spills and food mess after our kids can be easily wiped out.

I ordered a 60 x 40 and I got a 58.5 x 41.5. I needed the perfect size so this does not work for me. I contacted the manufacturers of this product as the sheet inside implored me to do if anything was wrong and I still haven't heard back after a week. Also as this is a large product it is going to be very hard to return. It does protect as indicated and that's the only reason I gave it one star. I am very disappointed.

Worked great. I trimmed mine down a bit with a good pair of scissors to fit my need. Also used a good utility knife on a cutting board for cutting holes where I needed them. Now our small dog xan't damage oyr shoe rack when she jumps on it.

Deceptively small - not sure what table would fit this narrow strip. Please see photo with comparison to my hand size

The quality of material is really good. Unfortunately I ordered wrong size by 1 inch so returned it. Will order right size. But worth to buy.

Everything was great about this except when I unrolled the cover, there was a scratch across the width of the cover. I am a disappointed but luckily I am using a table runner which covers the damage. It doesn't feel right to throw it away so I decided to keep it anyway.
