Healthy Roots, Great Gift, and Hoping for Stunning Blooms.
I ordered the Mixed Peony Jumbo Pack - 6 Paeonia Large Roots (White, Pink, Red) as a gift, and I'm really pleased with what I received. The roots look healthy and well-packed. I already have some peonies in my garden, so I knew what to expect — and these did not disappoint. This pack was a gift for a relative, and they were very happy with it. Hopefully, they’ll bloom beautifully like the ones I already have. Looking forward to seeing those gorgeous white, pink, and red flowers in full bloom. Satisfied so far!

Showed Up Rotten
I was so excited for these peony bulbs, but they showed up with a severe case of what I believe to be Botrytis Blight! Some of the bulbs were completely unusable. I don't have time to try to get replacements (it would delay my ability to plant until next year) so I cut the rot off and planted them anyway. Hoping for the best! ** UPDATE ** I consistently treated them with a copper fungicide to help with the root rot, but they completely failed to thrive and I will have to dig them up next year and try again with something else. HUGE disappointment.

As Described
Arrived as described! I’m praying all 6 do sprout as a couple bulbs looked a little dry and brittle. I will update in a few weeks if possible.

Mixed results
All six roots appeared healthy and we planted them according to directions we found on YouTube as there were no directions included with the purchase. Five of the six sprouted, and one of those died shortly afterwards. One of the surviving sprouted roots has a different appearance from the others. After checking it out on a plant-identifier app, it turns out to be a seaside goldenrod, if the app is correct. We intend to let it continue to grow so we can find out. Hoping to have healthy, flowering bushes by this time next year, we’ll see. These were fairly expensive to us. Will not order again in the future, but will purchase from a local nursery instead.

All 6 of the Peonies came up quickly and are doing great!
These Peonies were bought to plant along side 2 existing ones to create a Peony garden that we hope will be beautiful in a few years. They arrived on time, were well packaged, and all 6 came up in about a week after planting. In the attached picture, you should be able to see all 6. They are all above the 6 wooden marker sticks about a foot or so. It looks like there are at least 3 varieties. We were very pleased with the condition of the plants, and we think they are an excellent value. The only downside is we don't the flower color for each plant, so we couldn't arrange the colors. However, we think all Peonies are beautiful, and are looking forward to finding out what the colors are after their first bloom in 2 to 3 years.

No signs of growth.
No sign of growth one was so rotten it was just mush. I Don't recommend these. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and pay more for live plants. Quality is very low, death rate is very high.

Almost all of them have grown
Out of the 6 in this pack 5 have grown with very little care. Unsure why the 6th one didn't take, I planted it in the same area and the same way I planted the others and followed the instructions provided. I haven't had blooms yet but I did plant them a bit late for that so I'm looking forward to spring next year to see what colors I have!

Got these last year mid season-ish. . .
they came up and grew like a few leaves and my GSD knocked 2 of them off of the roots and I assumed he killed them. . .I even covered one with weed barrier because you know he trampeled it mid season months b4 the others died back for the year. . . So here we are 1 year later and all 6 have come up !!!! I was glad I went to weed the one the was deff dead because it was coming up under the weed barrier !!! Yay! Still not bloomed yet but I read they take 3 years to do that . . The red foliage coming up is making me so happy!
