Works great!! Worth the money!
Very happy with this. This unit was recommended to me by multiple professional video engineers and is perfect for being able to use an older laptop that outputs a VGA signal for an external monitor and converting it to a modern digital format like HDMI or SDI to send the signal to modern video switchers, etc. I no longer have to feel embarrassed when asked by a video engineer at corporate events what sort of output I can provide them and having to say "VGA or composite." I can hold my head high and say "HDMI and/or SDI." Actually there are two SDI outs and I believe you can use the single HDMI out and two SDI outs all simultaneously!

Strong, Professional Box
Saved me on a recent gig where the downstage monitor was breaking up at the end of a long SDI run. Used this instead of a simple SDI/HDMI converter and it made the signal perfectly solid. Will be buying another one soon.

Have had a few issues with it, but not ...
Have had a few issues with it, but not sure if it's operator error or an HDCP issue. Shouldn't be as it was a computer feed that I couldn't get to work with a powerpoint presentation.

Yes, you need it
If you’re looking this deep, you very likely need this thing. Used several of these and never had any issues whatsoever. They are tanks, and they do what they are designed to do.

Works exactally as advertised
Mine connects between an ATEM mini and a VGA Display running an odd resolution. The ATEM did not like straight conversion from VGA to HDMI. This did the trick. Someone said it's like a Swiss Army knife - they were right.
