I love second chance romance's and this one didn't disappoint
I read this story years ago and couldn't wait to revisit! I love second chance romance's and this one didn't disappoint. Jason and Laura dated as teenagers and thought no one knew, until her family sent her away. When the two meet up again later in life the love jumps off the page! When things start to go a little wrong, they are forced together to discover what is going on. I highly recommend this book!

Great finish to a great rereleased series
Jason and Lauren are great together. This a forbidden and reunion love story. You get to remeet Lauren from the first book in this series and she is stron and you can't help but root for her. This series is great and in the wonderful Carly Phillips way you get to see glimpses of all the characters from the other books so you get to keep up with everyone. This was a great series and I am glad that I could read this old series that was redone and rereleased.

I got it
In the Charm book, I was lost at first. Now I got it. The beginning is about how all things came about. I was glad to understand it now. I was wondering about all of it and love the Lucky series. But then again I love all of Carly Phillips books. Want more of the fathers stories too.

Series Ender Was the Best!!!
This is the third book in the Lucky series and my favorite book. I rated each book a 5 but if i could I would have rated this one higher.Jason Corwin was an Olympic bound snowboarder who is back in town because he has been accused of using illegal drugs so he can't be in the Olympics. Lauren Perkins, a dress designer, is back in town fixing up her late grandmother's house to sell. She needs the money to help her with her sister Mary Elizabeth Perkins' defense. Elizabeth is in a mental hospital (if you read Lucky Streak you will know why) and Lauren wants to help her. This is not only Jason and Lauren's story but all the Corwin's story. This book is so inspirational, the way it talks about mental health.Book OrderLucky CharmLucky StreakLucky BreakThis is a great series!

Lucky Break ties up the Trilogy perfectly.
Lucky Break is the 3rd and final book in the Series. The Corwin curse … all Corwin men who fall in love will be destined to lose his love and fortune … No Corwin has walked away unscathed or have they? The final cousin is Jason Corwin … disgraced world champion Snowboarder who returns home and falls back on what he knows, and becomes a Contractor.Lauren Perkins is an up-and-coming fashion designer, and she is also the executor of her grandmothers estate. Her grandmother Mary Perkins, the old Mayor, had a heart attack after being arrested while her sister Beth is in the prisons psychiatric ward. Lauren returns home to get the house ready to sell, and is working to get her sister transferred to a psychiatric hospital. It's the night of the Fall Festival, and it's a Masquerade. Lauren decides to attend and she's hoping to see Jason. It's been 10-years since she's seen him in person. Jason recognized Lauren, and can't believe she's doesn't tell him who she is. The attraction is still there.Lauren can't believe the condition of her grandmothers house and needs a contractor to fix it so she can sell it and leave town. Jason wants to do the work and get to know Lauren again. Their attraction to each other is off the charts, but nothing is ever simple. Jason manipulates the situation so he gets the job. Between his cousin's wives playing cupid, and someone setting a fire to the house things keep going from bad to worse. There are so many twists and turns as these two work on getting the house ready that you become drawn into the story … from dealing with the issues surrounding Lauren's sister Beth and Jason's father and uncles … and most of all the Corwin Curse!Lucky Break ties up the Trilogy perfectly. I read this series when it was first released, and I enjoyed revisiting it. I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
