Use on Merlin ADS-B receiver (prebuilt stratux) after I lost my original antennas. Work phenomenally and were a good price. Much cheaper than the other options I saw on here for replacement.

Broke my antennas when I drove of with my stratux on the roof of my Jeep. Oops! These were perfect replacements at a good price point.

The product was as expected, it helped building a small homemade system.

I bought these antennas hoping that they weren't just some cheap Chinese WiFi antennas relabeled for ADS-B/UAT frequencies. I was not disappointed. I put both antennas on a Vector Network Analyzer, and they were both tuned exactly on their labeled frequencies, 1090 MHz, and 978 MHz. The UAT/978 MHz antenna had a 1:1.09 VSWR, while the ADS-B/Mode S/1090 MHz antenna was around 1:1.3 VSWR. The suppliers are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, even more reason to purchase from CrewDog Electronics.

I am using the 1090 antenna to pick up aircraft location data (ADS-B / MLAT) using the Flightaware dongle and this antenna is much better than the previous one I was using.I highly recommend this antenna if you are building an ADS-B receiver.
