Love this knife for several reasons. It holds an edge like no knife I have ever used. It slices like no chef knife I have ever used.The negative part is it is heavy. VERY heavy. Surprised me how it feels in the hand. Sort of awkward a bit in the handle and one needs to have good hands to use it well. Arthritis doesn't make it easy to use.One issue I have is that I am a bit afraid to use a honer on it. I don't want to damage the razor sharp blade, though that is the point I guess. It cuts through meat like butter, but has slowed down the process as the sharpness have begun to fail. Not being sure how to protect the edge I have held off using the honer on it.

Wicked sharp, but the blade had a defect, which when your paying over £80 for a knife is unacceptable. See picture

Great knife, does need regular sharpening contrary to reviews suggesting it stays sharp for a long time, but not to the extent of being a problem. Would recommend as in par with similarly priced Global knives.

This was a gift for my husband who is really into cooking. The knife is stylish and comfortable to hold and use.
