Not Very Good
I enjoyed the first book in the series and really wasn't excited about reading this one as I didn't find Lia interesting from the first book. I felt I should read the series in order though so I purchased the book. I felt the author had a problem letting Lia be the professional bodyguard and keeping Jonah an alpha male. It didn't work for me. I also had a big problem with Jonah deciding to back off and not telling his band first with some sort of compromise. He left them hanging out to find jobs with the caveat that "they were young and could find jobs." What a jerk move that was. I just really had a problem with how these characters were written and I do agree with other reviewers that the sex scenes became repetitive and I began skipping some of the later ones. I will give the third book a chance and hope it gets back some of the flavor of the first.

Good end to this story but I was kind of bummed
I really enjoyed the ending of the book. I feel like it had good closure. However I’m kind of upset/bummed. In the first book we got to have duel points of view. I was looking forward to that again as I need to have multiple points of view for me to get the story even more substance. Sadly you only gave us Beths point of view this time and I felt like I missed our on half the story. Again it was a good book and again a good conclusion for Shane and Beth, however, I feel like the author should have done the duel points of view again.

Fearless by April Wilson
I never wanted a book to end so much as this one. I was disappointed that the first 100 plus pages were devoted to one sex scene after the other almost identical to the one before. The real plot you expected to continue after reading Vulnerable began in the middle of the novel. And suddenly you read the kind of story that you read in Charmed. I don’t mind a good sex scene or more than one, but I don’t like a novel to start like a sex manual. But I always try to finish a novel I start. It’s after all someone’s work, but I also have to consIder the readers. Reviewed by Heide Katros, Winter Haven News, Florida

great continuation of the story
I apologize that my review isn't the most timely- I read the book for the first time well over a year ago. As with all of the books in the series, after the initial reading I immediately jumped into the next book. This is one of my all time favorite book series. Holds up extremely well to re-reads. I believe I've read this book 4 times?.Ms. Wilson writes a book with interesting characters that readers will want to know more about, solid plot twists and amazing dialogue. The minute I finish one of her books I immediately stalk her fb page to find out when the next one will be coming out.

Love Shane
This is a continuation of Shane and Beth’s story. I actually like it better than the first book. We still get Shane’s alpha possessiveness and Beth is maturing. She stands up for herself a little more. Some of the details are repetitive and rehash what happened in the first book. I guess it’s good for the new readers.

Don't pass this one up folks! Five stars all the way!
Fearless picks up where Vulnerable left off- with Shane McIntyre tirelessly loving and protecting Beth. I love him so much! There are s few hiccups as their relationship grows, with Beth trying to recover and learn to stand on her own two feet while Shane attempts to keep her huddled under the umbrella of his protective nature. Beth comes into her own, navigating through her fear while attempting to conquer it.We see more character development of the McIntyre clan through highly entertaining and sometimes hilarious scenes. Their family dynamic is amazing.Romance, suspense, humor and kick-butt action- this books has it all. Throw in some uber-sexy alone time and you have the full package. This book kept me fully immersed until the very end where, with misty eyes, I read the satisfying and heart warming conclusion.Great writing, fully developed plot, and likable characters all make Fearless a five-star read. Don't pass this one up folks!

From quiet to bold!
In Vulnerable we learned about Beth's past and what her traumatizing past looked like. In Fearless we watch Beth start to spread her wings and transform into the strong beautiful woman that she is by Shane's side. We also see Shane struggle with his overprotective ways but wanting to keep his love safe. Their relationship continues to develop and their test their limits and boundaries while blossoming into an amazing happily ever after. I love this series and I can't recommend it enough.

Start at the beginning of the series!
All of her books are great! All of the characters are interesting and after the first couple of books they really start to feel like family. Don’t limit the fun by just reading one or reading them out of order. There’s a great deal of raw emotion and human insecurity bleeding from each character which makes the books an even greater delight to read. I recommend.

Romantic thriller (sort of)
No plot spoilersThere are some potential triggers relating to violence and kidnap. There are quite a few grammatical errors that really irritated the life out of me, no idea why the editor/proof reader didn't pick them up.I have to be honest and state the FL Beth is so annoyingly sweet I almost broke a tooth, she is also clueless and naive to the point of pain. I kept hoping she was going to get killed off by the baddie (who is so textbook bad guy it's laughable)The ML Shane is the atypical alpha male who never tells Beth anything and is so over protective I was surprised he let her pee by herself.Surprisingly, the supporting characters are well written, I want to know more about Cooper and Jamie. However, being totally honest I have to warn that every other page is sex. They have a conversation followed by sex, they go for dinner/lunch/breakfast/coffee followed by sex. They use the office, the elevator, the sitting room, three different bedrooms and the hall wall. Frequently.Inbetween and during all the sex they drop short conversations which moves the storyline forward. Slowly.I tried skipping the sex scenes only to realise there was some storyline hints being revealed so that didn't work out so great for me.There is also some swearing, just in case you are a prude.

Enjoyed but sadly disappointed.
This has been difficult to review. I really enjoyed Vulnerable and was looking forward to continuing the story here with Fearless. The main point of the story is that, after 18 years, Beth's kidnapper has been released from prison and is after her again. Apart from knowing his whereabouts here and there, his capture was an anti-climax for me. It felt rushed and I would have liked more drama to unfold at that point, e.g. for Beth to come face to face with Kline, rather than what actually happened.Again, for me, there were too many sex scenes. Some of them were not necessary. Sadly, I skimmed some of those parts in order to get on with the story.Even though this is book two, parts of book one were explained again. I didn't feel that necessary; most readers would have been aware of everything after reading Vulnerable.I found the writing just a little repetitive at times; the odd word/phrase was used several times throughout.I enjoyed reading this story from Beth's POV in the present tense and how her character developed. I also enjoyed Shane's character and the other subsidiaries. I'm also hoping that Cooper will get his own story. I will definitely read book 3 though because I like Lia's character. As I mentioned at the start, this has been a tricky review to write. I wanted to sit and read this at every opportunity I had, meaning it maintained my interest most of the time, but I just feel this could have been so much better.

Excellent Book But .......
I really have enjoyed this series and it would have been 5 stars. However my criticism is that the author added to much reflection in this second book and whilst it was very good, you actually didn't need to read book 1 because there was just too much reflection. Every memory was written in full to the point where I skimmed pages as I had already read it. If anything the author did herself no favours, because in doing what she did people would have no reason to buy the first book. In previous series of books I've had to go back and re-read the first book, which is a major part of the enjoyment. Sadly you wouldn't need to do this with this book you have ALL the story from the first book in it. Please don't do this again as you are doing a disservice to the people who bought the first book and also yourself.I would still recommend it however don't bother with the first book you won't need it

Praise to April Wilson for another epic book x
Fearless is the 2nd book to Vulnerable written by April Wilson. To say I was anticipating an excellent story does not do justice to fearless. I fell in love with Shane and Beth in book 1, it has been amazing seeing their relationship bloom and Beth become more self assured, seeing Shane adjust to Beth as she becomes more comfortable with in her own skin. It is great to see the way family plays a big part. This has been another book you just have to read cover to cover, I found I struggled to put it down and would find I had spent the whole night reading instead of sleeping, I just had to find out what happened next. Now there is the great excitement of the engagement and wedding to look forward to not mention Lia's story. May the McIntyre bodyguards continue to appear, I eagerly sit and wait for upcomimg releases.Praise to April on another epic book x
