A simple tool, that can sometimes become a must have. It's light, sturdy, and does the job. I've used this with an off-brand stainless steel camp cook set, where one of the pans are without a handle. This item worked perfectly for moving on and off the fire, as well as doubling as a handle. I don't tend to leave these connected while the pan is cooking, in order to keep them cool for use. I'm sure you could leave it on with no problem though.

I keep this with my 1-burner alpine stove and the 8-oz soup pot I use for backpacking. Pro: small and lightweight, replaces bulkier pots. Inexpensive. Easy to use - just grip (kinda like pliers). Con: it’s aluminum, not steel, so the metal softens with time and it can’t grip sufficiently- so you’ll need to replace after few dozen uses. For the same reason, it can’t hold up a heavy pot (like a giant soup pot or even a cast-iron skillet). But if you are cooking with those, you’re not worried about weight.

I bought my first one of these delightful grabbers when I was a teenager and backpacking with my Girl Scout troop. Sometime after my husband and I were married, his brother borrowed it and we never saw it again..... until I found it on Amazon! These are great when you are removing something without a handle, or a handle that gets and stay hot, from a camping stove or campfire. The utensil will grab on the rim of the hot item and allow you to easily pick this up. I am slowing giving my adult children items to make a 72 hour emergency evacuation kit and was so excited to find these again. In the kits I had a small stove that uses compressed fuel with a large stainless steel mug that can be used to heat soup or water. This grabber makes it easier to remove the hot mug from the heat. My oldest child and her family camp and this will be useful on camping trips. My youngest child often does field work and will camp out when doing that or when travelling. Once again, this will be a great addition to the backpacking stove and cookset she already has. These will go in all of our stockings this Christmas.

Works fine. No frills. Fairly light. If your going ultralight hiking on a budget this works. Kind of a luxury for UL hikers but I could see its convenience paired with a titanium plate for a makeshift frying pan or getting a hot cup off the fire. Thanks.

Si fue lo esperado, tal y como lo muestra la foto, llegó antes y en buen estado.
