Colour Direct - 5 (1 Set + 1 Black) Remanufactured Ink Cartridges Replacement For HP 903 / HP 903XL - HP Officejet Pro 6960 All-in-One, 6970 All-in-One, 6975 All-in-One Printers

Doesn’t work. This is the second set from this supplier that has not worked. The return took an age to process and required photographic evidence of errors before approved. An experience I will not repeat.Speaking to other suppliers, HP software updates block non original chips. When this happens the existing compatible stock becomes trash and new stock is needed with revised chips. The supplier can take this on the chin and replace his stock or can make his customers suffer and keep delivering known blocked chips in the vein hope that some of the printers out there have out of date firmware.The way suppliers approach this differentiates between those that are trustworthy and those which are a liability.

Fitted these cartilages as a full set. Printer just kept saying there was a cartridge fault. Systematically replaced one of the original cartridges at a time and each time the original cartridge came up as good but the remaining Colour Direct cartridges came up as faulty. Tried cleaning the contacts on the cartridges and installing them several times to no avail. Returning for a refund.

Could not get the printer to accept the cartridges They seemed loose in the ink carrier and the printer just kept saying reinsert them. Putting back the originals worked. Sadly it was too late for me to get my money back from Amazon. Don't take the risk of using non OM ink. False economy.

Despite the compatability assurance provided by Colour Direct/Amazon the product does not work with my printer.

I have a HP Officejet Pro 6970 which takes 903 / 903XL cartridges. I bought these from Colour Direct as they were a Which? compatible cartridge recommendation. My printer refuses to recognise them even though Colour Direct states Remanufactured Ink Cartridges Replacement HP 903 / HP 903XL - HP Officejet Pro 6960 All-in-One, 6970 All-in-One. Definitely not fit for purpose!! I would like to give no stars but it seems I cannot so I have to give it one!
