I bought this holster for my snubby to replace another holster. The holster I had before was stiff and pretty crappy and rubbed on the gun in all the wrong ways. This Houston holster‘s material is a lil different from the other guys but boy does the revolver just sit perfect in that material. Easy on the waist for the carrier and easy on your gun. Draws smooth from waist and holster stays in place on hip. Other cheap holster come out with gun as you draw not a Houston holster no sir. I might buy another one just to have as a back up. Very happy with my purchase. I strongly recommend this Houston holster for anyone with a snub nose.

houston might make the best budget holsters period. i returned mine but because it was not the right size for my needs but even so, it still fit but just sank a little too far into it so for my needs it didnt work but there are so so many guns that this would work flawlessly on and they really are the best option at this price point. they punch above their weight class

Update: I’ve had plenty of opportunity to practice carrying my 686 in this holster since posting my first review and I have found it necessary to give it another star after my experience. This holster is very comfortable to wear and, when affixed properly, I am able to draw and be on target in less than two seconds without any holster caused malfunctions. The one drawback is that I can’t get a full firing grip on the gun while it is holstered, and find myself having to adjust my grip mid draw. Although that is a drawback, the holster was such a low price, is so comfortable, and works so well for my purposes, that I felt the need to grant it another star. Although it isn’t perfect, I would definitely buy again.This is a soft holster that works fine for my 686 3” revolver. It’s quite comfortable and conceals the weapon well. I do wish the revolver sat higher in the holster, as I don’t get a very solid grip and have to adjust after the draw. I also wish the holster was long enough to completely cover the muzzle but, for $20.00, it does what I need it to do.

This is the only comfortable iwb holster i used for my 686 plus. Got rid of the gun a while ago as it was just too big for carry. But if youre crazy enough to do it, this is the one yall are searching for my fellow 686 owners.

It does what it’s suppose to do.Could I conceal it sure will I probably not but it fits and works as it should holding my gun in place for a fraction of the the price of many others.I’m happy with it.

Just received this holster. Nice, soft, very protective for sure, but I find it too lose, doesn't hold the gun properly. There isn't a safety latch, so the gun slides out way too easy.

For anyone looking, this IWB holster is a good fit for the Taurus Tracker 44 magnum - 2.5 inch barrel - 5 shot revolver.
