When you need it, you sorta need it now.
I took off a star because it did not arrive in time. I ordered this blocker, but needed it by the end of the week to use in a friend's car. I ended up having to scour the web and drive 30 miles to get the same one locally. Both the one that I left with my friend and this one both worked in two different vehicles. I kept this one for my car just in case. It would be great to have expedited shipping as an option for this blocker because it's one of those things that when the need arises, it's needed soon. I like that it gives you the option to save the battery on your car remote, but I really don't use it for that. It sits in my glove box in the hopes that I'll need to lock my keys in my car someday...

Works almost too well
After my car was recently broken into at home, I bought this RFID fob cover out of fear that my car could potentially be stolen while I was asleep. At first, I tested it by trying to unlock my car with the cover on- the lock, unlock & truck buttons were all unresponsive which was good! But then a few days later I came out to my car from work, pulled my fob out of the cover to unlock my car then replaced it after getting in the car but before starting the car. Needless to say, the car won’t start when this cover is in use- AWESOME! I just have to remember to leave the cover at home & not in my purse for driving use. For reference, I drive a 2018 Honda Accord Sport.

Blocks the RF signal from FOB
this really does work. I am able to keep a spare FOB in my vehicle with a key hidden under it. Use the key to get in the vehicle, than grab the hidden FOB inside the vehicle to start it up. If I ever lose my FOB when out and about, at least I know I can get inside vehicle now and use spare FOB. Without this RF Blocker, you will never be able to lock the doors because the vehicle will think there is a FOB still in the vehicle and will not allow you to lock the doors.

Life limited durability.
Bought APR 2024. Used daily for a Nissan Intelligent System key fob. Began failing to block signals JUL 2024. Noticed that if the flap was folded and secured as tight as possible the blocking ability was restored. Complete failure AUG 2024. No matter how well the flap is secured there is no signal being blocked. I theorize the faraday fabric at the flap hinge point failed due to multiple uses daily over 4 months. My other issue is the frail fabric loop that holds the key ring. It is very undersized and I believe it’s failure was imminent also.

Useful Product
We opt to hide a key in order to not be stranded should our keys become lost while away. This used to be a slim case that used a magnet to adhere to the vehicle but the lack of metal combined with the oversized key pods forced a redesign that this product accomplishes. The Velcro attachment is sturdy and the signal blocking technology works well so the vehicle does not know of its proximity thus does not perform unwanted functions such as unlocking doors, etc.
