I just opened the package and removed the strip of plastic that insulates the battery. Put the battery back in, and the light light on the top of the remote does not light when pushing the on/off buttons. I plugged in the 110AC to 12v ac power supply, and green light on the supply is lit, but the other lights don't work. Seems that the remote is not working.On another note, I bought these lights to use in my travel trailer, running them off the 12 volt power, not off 110v. I suppose if I want to hook up to the battery I would have to cut the 12v output wire off the power supply and then hook it up to my 12v circuit. I wish that the system would have a connection to go to 12v without cutting wires. Or, am I missing something?I received a new complete system in the mail. Remote worked fine with the original lights. I would be keeping the replacement lights, but I don't really have a use for it, so I'm sending the lights string and power back to factory.

So I start to experience to different possibilities to use it. I found out this might be the great light for holidays decoration, different color for different holiday and I can keep it for year long. LOL!

I bought multiple boxes of these because my kids wanted to hang them all the way around their rooms. They hung them in the evening and woke up in the morning to find the majority of them draped down toward the floor. The first ones in my sons room were destroyed because the strips stuck together and the adhesive started pulling away from the lights. We bought more and found a way to make them stay up - his are now doing okay. The lights in my daughters room quit working soon after we put them up. We have not been able to take them down because when we tried to pull them off the wall they left black adhesive on the wall, which we do not know how to get off without destroying the paint. I feel like I threw quite a bit of money out the window and in the long run will cost me even more due to the damage to our paint.

These light strips come with all the necessary cables, you just have to connect them and they are ready to use. There are many other similar products where you have to buy batteries or other cables to make them work. These ones can be connected directly to the socket thanks to the cable that changes the 110 V into the 12 V required by the lights. You can use them in series having a really long strip or they can be connected separately thanks to the double connector in the adaptor. This gives lots of options on how you can arrange them at home. They are really simple to use, the remote control allow to choose between different patterns. These can be adjusted by making them flash either slower or quicker. You can also change the intensity of the lights by making them brighter or dim them. These light strips are a great product that you won't regret buying. I highly recommend them..

These work well and stick to the wall well. What they don't make clear is it's 2 16' strips with no connector. So you can only go 16' from the power supply in different directions. Very disappointed in that, including a connector would cost them a penny.

I was very excited for this as my friend bought the same ones. The remote does not work on the one I received. I threw out the box it came in because I thought it would work perfectly, so I cannot return. I had high expectations but without the remote this is useless to me. The lights work great and are bright but it is stuck on one color for me.

These lights worked great, the remote control worked fine, and they looked great to light up my dorm room. However, the reason I gave them 3 stars was because when I went to leave my dorm for good, taking the lights off the wall was a hassle. The adhesive is super strong and hard to take off the wall, even Goo Gone couldn’t quite do the job. My advice is to use these for more permanent fixtures, or just not use the given adhesive backing (and try some other way to attach them to the wall). Saying that, I did really like these lights, and I hope this is helpful!

Lights are great! Fun and easy to use. We connected several strands to go around the perimeter of the room. Remotes work pretty well, each set has one and they don’t always sync up. So they are not perfect.DO NOT USE THE ADHESIVE in the box. It destroyed our wall. Make sure you like where you place the lights, we tried to move them but the light strip ripped. Not sure if it was because the adhesive was so strong or if the light strip was poor quality. Overall, we love the lights and the features. Inexpensive way to decorate a teens room.
