Zalto Denk'Art Burgundy Wine Glass Hand-Blown Crystal

I bought for my husband as a Christmas present and he loves it. If you are a wine connoisseur this is for you.

Really does improve the quality of your wine!

Although the glasses are elegant and much lighter than Riedel's Pinot Noir vinum glasses there are words of caution. Do not dry and hold the stem no matter how careful you think you are being. I recently discovered the top of the stem is the weak point. Dry the interior first, hold the glass underneath across the bottom of the bowl and then dry the outside. Use the largest cloth you can. The XL Trendy Bartender ones are just the ticket. Also, the slightly angular shape of the bowl tends to exaggerate the alcohol in the wine with the angular bowl trapping the glycerol legs of the wine. Apart from those caveats they are fantastic and well worth the money. The glass holds the Burgundian aromas in a very concentrated way.

I am in love with these glasses. They are so delicate and elegant it’s a beautiful glass. I did extensive research on best wine glasses. By far these out rated any glassware especially Riedel. My Husband is an avid collector of wine so I wanted to enhance his experience. They are very delicate so I wouldn’t trust the dishwasher even though it says it’s dishwasher safe. At these prices, this is not a glass we use for everyday. It will only be pulled out only with our wine friends and only for intimate dining setting. Noooo walking around. I am impressed with the shipping of the glassware. I purchased 6 burgundy glasses and they were packed well and nothing broke. Previously, I purchased some Bordeaux glasses and 1 did came with a snapped stem. I contacted Zalto and they asked that I send them a few pics of the box and glass. After that it was a quick turnaround and got a replacement glass. All I can say is if you invest in great wine why settle on so-so wine glasses? Invest in nice wine glasses that will add to the experience.

Very fragile feeling in your hand, but it is not as fragile as it feels since it's still intact. I have the smaller one too. I did taste tests with my sister and my mother. They liked the wine in the Zalto glass better each time.
