I thought the grooved areas would be smoother but they will smooth out with use. I used the tapered portion to burnish the edge with great results.A great product that came on time. I see the pros using this type with good results.

What's not to like?
These are made just fine and aren't covered in finish so they should burnish very well. I have enough for both hands. Yup.
