Folks, right off remember this is a book and DOES NOT take the place of a live instructor and LOTS of practice. It does give anyone interested in mixed gas diving lots to think about and probably should be required reading for all divers interested in both safety and extending their boundaries.If you have ever been down by the dock and seen a diver emerge from the water festooned with tanks, and thought they looked pretty cool, you should read this book and make an informed decision.

So I picked up this book out of curiosity and I’m glad I did. I read through it a couple times so that I absorbed all the information. Then I found myself coming back and reading it again. So much so that I signed up for the IANTD online rec trimix course. I. Which his book helped tremendously. I was able to fly through the academic part of the course in part because of the book and my knowledge as a nitrox diver.If you’re wondering about adding trimix to your recreational diving. This book can help to answer the questions you may have.Just remember, this book is in no way a substitute for taking a real trimix course with an instructor. Get the training, gain the experience and dive safe.

A good intro to Trimix diving. Anyone contemplating trying deep diving, this is a good starting point to kick off your learning.

I was curious about trimix and this book gave me some good insight in to what skills and knowledge need to be mastered. I feel some of the equations are not thoroughly explained. Maybe the author could have taken a more step by step approach in explaining them.
