Style J Simply Me Denim Skirt

This skirt leaks dye every time it is washed and it has shrunk slightly every time it has been washed. The length has shrunk the most at about an inch I would guess. Even after having it and washing it for over six months if the wet skirt out of the washer is wiped with a white paper towel blue dye comes off on the paper towel. Talked to one denim manufacturer in the U.S. and they said the denim should not be doing this. Also the way the hem was sewn on this skirt is faulty and it puckers after washing and drying and has to be ironed to lie flat. All in all I would not order this skirt again and I cannot recommend it.

I wanted to love this skirt and when it arrived I was so excited to try it on...however, that's where the love stopped. The skirt runs slightly small, so pulling it up over my hips was a bit of a struggle. There is a zipper but it is very small and didn't allow much room for one to pull it up. But, the real problem for me was where the waistband hit on the body! It was a good 3 inches above my navel! Too bad, because the skirt is made very well and the fabric is good quality. If you have a straight figure (no hips) and a long torso it might be okay. I am still looking for a denim skirt.....

I read the reviews and took their advice to order up a size and it fit perfect. Someone had mentioned frumpy but I think a cute top and the right shoes will jazz it up. I'm 60 something and couldn't find the right style of denim shorts for the past couple years so I decided to go with skirts. I'm very pleased with my purchase and am looking at other Style J skirts too. My only complaint is that I think it was a tad spendy.

I was excited to finally find a skirt that was long "enough" and yet, not too long. All the reviews said that this ran SO small so I bought what they recommended and bought 2 sizes up, only to have it fit like a tent on me. I can't make a commendation as to what size to buy. Your best off buying a skirt from another company.....

This is a nice skirt. I agree with other reviewers that the Style J logo on the back pocket is a negative, and I'd rather it weren't there, but I'm not going to avoid tucking shirts in because of it. Here's the thing, and I hope you're listening, Style J: young women don't mind stuff like that, but young women don't want knee length skirts. Know your customers. Otherwise, it's great.

I love, love, love this skirt! I have received many compliments on it. This is my third Style J Skirt. I know some people do not like the rhinestones but I do not find them offensive. I normally wear a 10-12 in pants and the 12 (tag on the inside says 32) fit perfectly. This is a great slenderizing A line skirt.

Had to pick off the rhinestone label on the back pocket. Yeah, not a big deal but come ON! Those disco days are long past.However I love how the Style J skirts fit and now own two.

Perfect fit, true to size. I'm 5'2" and the hem falls slightly below the knee. Love the versatility this length offers - I pair it with jackets for work, and with T shirts and Keds on the weekend. Great quality too. This skirt quickly became a go-to staple in my summer wardrobe.
