These nougat recipes are just what I was looking for. What a welcome surprise. They are European originals. A wonderful book to keep or give to a friend who bakes.

I always like to make little bags of goodies to give to people at Christmas and this year my mum suggested I tried nougat (I think because it's her favorite). I thought it must be complicated and so went in search of a book, turns out its not hard at all!I am really pleased with my purchase, this book contains a great selection of recipes with some lovely pictures of the finished products. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the only 'special' equipment you need is a sugar thermometer. The recipes are in american units (cups etc) but if you're a metric like me there's a table in the front of the book so it's easy to convert. I've had a go at the cherry nougat which went well, I'm going to try the Christmas nougat next as it looks so colorful in the picture.Great buy!

Easy to read, pleasant to make. Lol.Have tried other nougat books but this one is by far the best!Consise instructions making for a hassle free yummy cooking experience from start to the last mouthful of delicious nougat!
