Fab quality
I am absolutely delighted with the quality and taste of this bergamot tea. I’ve tried many other brands, but only this one has truly satisfied me, and I’ve been drinking it for two years now.

🫖Flavour worth waiting for☕
My boyfriend is an Earl Grey tea addict and has previously bought a different brand of Blue Flower Earl Grey Tea, which he really liked. I couldn't find the same brand for him so thought I'd take a chance on this one and am really glad that I did, it's absolutely delicious! In general tea from Sri Lanka is of excellent quality. This is no exception. It is based on large pieces of leaf and has a good bergamot lacing to it. The blue flowers add a subtle change to the taste as well as making the inside of the teapot look pretty. It comes in a re-sealable, foil-lined pouch, which helps to keep it fresh once opened. It is common for Earl grey to be made with a Darjeeling base but this one uses a black Ceylon tea instead. For most black teas, including this one, it is essential to have the water as hot as possible when you brew it and then to be patient enough to let it steep in a teapot for 3 or 4 minutes, before drinking it.

Strong, good bergamot flavour, base tea is muddy though
I love the Earl grey to and have been drinking it for nearly 50 years now do am aware of the many different types. This is a strong tea, given standard water Quality, temperature, quantity & infusion times. The bergamot flavour is prominent. The base tea, however is not to my tastes, not the best quality black tea, and leaves a muddy finish, similar to low quality black teas, hence my assumption the base tea is not the best quality, I could be wrong, and tastes do vary, but this time s not for me as the magenta overall cup taste is for me spoiled.I prefer distinct, clean, full tanin base of Ceylon first blush or Assam, so if you prefer your base tea to be more thick, treacly, what I call muddy, this may definitely be your cuppa. It contains blue flower petals, I assume bergamot but to me they look more like cornflower petals, often used in teas as they have no distinct flavour but are edible and look pretty in a glass teapot or infuser.I have given 4 out of 5 stars as I feel a better , more suitable base black tea could have been used, Compared to other earl grey tea with n the market and my personal preference.

One of the best tasting earl greys.
I love Earl Grey tea, it is all I drink. This smells and tastes fabulous. I have ordered twice now. I reuse the tea leaves a couple of times as I drink it so weak. It’s hard to find an earl grey tea with natural bergamot oil rather than flavouring.

the aroma hits you
really great citrus flavour, you can smell the orange and bergamot as soon as you open the pack. Unlike so many other loose leaf Earl Greys we have tried this has large leaves and not a lot of small bits that pass through the infuser and float around the cup. We'll be sticking to this brand.

A very citrusy tea
If you like a citrus tea then this might be for you, if you want an early grey perhaps not. There is little doubt the tea leaves are a high quality ceylon leaf, large cut. Unfortunately the bergamot and blue cornflower are completely lost in the overwhelming taste of citrus. Tried steeping the tea for a longer period but with no success. Anything longer than 5 minutes and there is a bitter aftertaste taste of tannin. Anything less and the tea is weak. Doubling the amount of tea did not help and made it an expensive to use. This is a high quality tea with none of the "dross" you get in cheaper teas but if your budget is tight in my opinion it is not very different from a store bought lady grey.
