Good solid material, better than conventional cheesecloth but a couple things I'd like to see changed.
I bought this bag to use to slow-brew coffee. I am happy with the construction and the seams hold up well to pretty strong straining and my coffee concentrate is plenty strong so the water permeates the bag nicely as well. Does a much better job than cheese cloth (in my opinion.)I gave 4 stars because the bag shape is not ideal to me. It is too wide for most of my containers (when filled with coffee.) I'd love to see that same bag in a tall thin shape. And if Practik Solutions if listening. Sell this material in maybe 6 to 8" flat rounds but still with the drawstring. I would buy those to use as pour through strainers in a heartbeat.

Good for Hop Additions in Homebrew
Purchased this to hold hop pellets during the homebrewing process. The bag is a good size for 1-2 oz hop additions during the boil, and also for dry-hopping the secondary or keg - I've used it for all three purposes. The mesh is very fine, but some hop "debris" is still able to get out. The drawstring is sturdy - I've gotten in the habit of folding the opening over once then tying the drawstring around to try to get a better seal.

eh..
A tiny bit of grit makes it through. And so expensive for what it is! But, its easy to use!

Needs a tighter mesh
I bought this bag to make kefir cheese. It is not quite fine enough mesh to strain the whey from the kefir milk without being cloudy. The mesh is much finer than cheesecloth, though. To solve this, I place a sieve over a bowl, a paper coffee filter in the sieve, and the nut bag with the kefir milk in the filter. That makes the whey nice and clear so I can use it in other recipes. The bag makes the cheese making easy for clean up.

Apparently I need a better bag
I've been using a different but milk bag to strain my cold brew. I had high hopes that this bag would let me filter once instead of the two times I'm doing it now. Unfortunately this bag takes three filter attempts, and still leaves sludge :/

Great product!
I purchased this item to use to strain wheatgrass out of my blended juice, since I don't yet have a wheatgrass juicer. It works perfectly! The item is a good quality and strains the juice very well. I simply placed it in the jar with the top hanging up and over the outer rim of the jar and poured the juice through while holding the string taught around the rim. Then squeeze to extract all the juice. I was left with pretty dry wheatgrass in the bag, which I added to my compost pile. I would buy this item again and recommend to anyone looking for a similar experience. Of course I will use it to make nut milk at some point as well! :)

Great for cold brewed coffee.
I have been making cold brewed coffee lately to cut back on the bitterness from the oils. The Nut Milk Bag helps to remove the last of the grit.I grind coffee beans at between fine to medium and brew the coffee grounds at room temperature for 24 hours in a Bodum French Press. I then strain that liquid through the Nut bag. I heat the coffee to near boiling for a much milder cup of coffee. That way I get the heat and lack of grit I prefer. The bag cleans with just hot running water, without soap which could leave a taste. It's a little more trouble than using a coffee maker, but my taste buds are sensitive enough so that I resent the taste of a paper filter.
