I bought this to help run electrical wiring in the walls of my house. Picture is decent, but I needed to shine my headlamp inside the wall cavity to see the entire space up to the blocking, between the studs I was working in. Works pretty well within a foot or two without additional lighting. It definitely was a help tracking where the existing wiring was routed, and to see obstacles like pipes and blocking. Small camera head size it nice, although I found at times I needed to drill bigger holes to better manipulate it to aim where I wanted to see. The cable was stiff enough to run upward and downward vertically about 5-6 as needed for this job. I would recommend for a use like mine where you need to get an idea of what's going on, but don't necessarily need a crystal clear image.

Pretty decent endoscope. I have a nest of three fledgling Carolinas Wrens on my carport. This bird takes two weeks to hatch the eggs and two weeks to fly from the nest I left my endoscope aimed at the nest and watched the little birdies Goetz said add prior to hatching watched the mama bird setting on the eggs.

This unit is a failure. The associated app will not connect to the device, thus rendering the scope useless. I wasted my money. So if you don't want to waste your money, don't buy a WiFi endoscope
