During transit the cement securing one of the cut shapes in place had worked loose. Had to cement back in to place before I could use the product.

I bought one of these last year and liked it so much I ordered another one.Unfortunately, the original manufacturer went out of business and the new one doesn't make quite the same product. So if you are buying the table to support a parasol, although there is a crude hole in the base of the tabletop, the inner edge of the whole is unfinished and a solid tile plug is the only thing supplied.The importer says there is nothing to be done so regrettably I had to return it.

Good things about this table in terms of size and sturdiness but it is much more 'distressed' looking than in pictures. Didn't really want this look - looks like I've had it 10 years!

Thus is just what I was looking for. The table is solid, slightly bigger than most bistro tables and, probably because of both these things it takes an umbrella - it would have to be a seriously strong wind to blow it over! It's a perfect size for two to dine, but will accommodate four for, say, coffee and cake. The other bonus is that while it has the weight of wrought iron, being natural stone, it doesn't require the maintenance. I presume it would be fine left out in all weathers (I should have asked!), but, just in case, I do cover mine if it's rainy or it's out of use for a while. I found that a cover meant for stacking chairs (most garden or home stores have them) fits perfectly. Last but not least - it looks nice. Just what I wanted!

As I've said can't improve on good value for money

It’s a table, it’s flat, it’s got character.It went together simply. It looks great. It even has a hole for brolly.Now got the bad bits. None.

First table had broken slate pieces on the table top so I returned for a replacement. Second table had a large crack on the underside. Poor materials and workmanship. Don’t bother
