I don't think there is any kit that will clean the type c
Didn't work. The type c is soo tight space I don't think anything other than a professional cleaning will work. The covers are cool though

Mostly useful cleaning tools
The oar-shaped cleaning piece doesn't really work for cleaning a USB-C port, because it can't get around the prong inside the port. It also seems too big for an Apple Lightning port, but I don't have a way of checking. The most useful piece is the pointed tip cleaner (would be nice to have more in this package!). It's great for getting into small crevices on electronic devices, & I also found it works to clean the crevices in my eyeglasses.

Cleans 1/8 inch socket
I used Deoxit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006LVEU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 to soak soak the smallest tool & inserted it into my mic input jack & it cleaned it right up!!! This repair alone was worth 10 times the price.

Just ok
Nothing magical about it, not that I expected a ton. Just wish the headphone jack cleaner worked better. Worked kinda like a q tip.. as in it just presses the junk into the jack even more. Doesn't grab anything particularly well while turning it.

I can hear better
I was getting where its hard to hear videos on my cell phone even with full volume up. After cleaning out the holes, I can hear so much better that I have to turn sound down. It was hard to get good connection in charging port too. It had black gunk on cleaning swab come out of it. Now it connects better. Its just like using a q-tip for your ears but for your phone. You can see in picture that it got some gunk out. Its worth the money.

Tools too big for charging port to clean!!!
This kit is completely useless!. It day you can clean charging port on android, I'd be way too afraid to try and jam even smallest tool up in there..

Just as you’d think
I do wish it came with something to get into the corners without being soft. But they work just as you’d expect. I haven’t cleaned my phone speakers in years and it does help get more sound out of the bottom.
