The suction is great and holds in place with no issue. The extension arm works well and may be tightened or loosened as desired, but slides smoothly. My only issue is that it will not hold my G7 Power, while it has a case on. When my G7 Power is without a case, it is held very secure. My Garmin gps also does not fit, once I place the gps in the holder, once the clamps close, the GPS turns sideways and isn't held at all.I believe the GPS and phone case are both to thick to be held securely by the clamps.

I use this in my car daily and just bought one for my son. I miss it when I drive other cars. It’s simple and holds the phone well. Not overpriced like most phone holders. Only complaint is the part that holds the phone is thin. If you have a thick phone case on your phone it might not grab too well. I have a thin one and it’s right on the edge. Other than that it’s worked out well.

Like everything about this phone holder: adhesion, adaptability, ease of attaching/removing phone. Turns out my wife couldn't use it because of the phone case she uses. The case is a flip/cover type and is slightly wider than her phone. This phone holder grabs the case but not the phone, so the phone flops forward and moves unacceptably while the car is in motion. I would offer a star rating for "security features" if I knew what that meant....

The wife selected this to mount her phone for navigation. It does hold well and isn't a big issue to find a suitable mounting location. However, the screw downs that hold the arms in position are only marginal. Big bumps and expansion by heating up in the sun make them slip. They haven't broken, but the weight of the phone and gravity does affect the arms.Will the unit work and fit almost every vehicle and desired position, yes.

By being able to position the holder to the left of the steering wheel, I can adjust the arm to keep the phone out of the sun. The only negative thing really has nothing to do with the holder itself, except because of the case on my cell phone I have to pull the arms a bit forward to make sure the grip is secure. Really love the product.

This product might work for phones with no cover or protection but if you have for example an Ottrrbox phone case it will not hold. The suction is almost non existent. I almost put glue on it but figured I shouldn’t have to mess up my car for this. Other than that seems to be ok but only if you use your phone with no cover or protection

I had high hopes for this product. But it disappoints medially. It constantly falls off of the dashboard and I have to re-wet the suction cup and try to see if it will stay down on the dash. I'm slightly disappointed but for the value it is a good deal. I just wish it worked better so I could give it five stars

The suction cup and adhesive gummy are great, even after borrowing this from my car into a rental for a road trip and putting it back.The turn screws to hold the phone up at thre right angle get loose too easy though and I am resetting the phone's position and tightening down the screws every other week.
