More McGuire Brilliance!
W-O-W!!!So, as most people know, I loved the first installment of Happenstance. I fell in love with the story, Erin, and of course, Weston. YA is my favorite genre, so I had high hopes for the series. This second installment didn't let me down. If anything, it solidified my love for this series. I am an angst whore, and this book has plenty of it to go around. Just when you think everything is perfect in Blackwell, there's a twist.Erin is adjusting to all the changes in her life. I think we never got to see the 'real' Erin until now. She's dealing with everything that's happened. And when she comes across some heartbreaking information, things get a bit rocky. You can really empathize with what she's going through, and understand her decisions. There were a few times I was worried about Weston, but I think overall, Jamie does a great job of keeping the doubts at bay. I still love him!Once again, Jamie has written a stellar book. The sheer brilliance of this novella had me turning pages wanting to get to the end, while wanting it to go on forever.

An Amazing, Thrilling, Relaxing Novella!
Wow, I have a lot of feels after reading this. This is the second part of the Happenstance novella series by Jamie McGuire. When we left Erin Easter in part one, she had just found out life altering news. In part two, Erin is still adjusting to her new life, and things are looking up for her. However, curiosity gets the best of her and some shocking twists are revealed including one that involves Weston. Will Erin be able to get past yet another roadblock in her life? I really loved this novella. In fact, I liked it more than part one. Two things I did not see coming happened and it was a big surprise. Weston did not swoon me this time because of something that was revealed, so I was left having mixed feelings about him. I hope he can redeem himself in the next installment. I'll leave you with one of my favorite lines: "All I am is all we are."

The truth always comes out
Who is Erin....really?!?! Is she Erin Alderman or Erin Easter.....or is she just left in limbo? Everything is happening so fast for Erin she doesn't know which way is up. She is still with Weston, but keeps having her thoughts going back to..well he probably did this stuff with Alder.....then having him discuss things with Julianne and Sam behind her back. It is becoming too much. Then breaking Julianne and Sam's trust by going into Alder's room......only there she finds the journals.....and the truth. I swear I wanted to punch Weston in the face. I loved how Sam defended his daughter and kept Weston away. It isn't until tragedy strikes again, that makes Erin realize how much she does love Weston and finally tells him. She gives him her heart and trust and starts looking forward to the future happiness with him. Happenstance 3 can not come out soon enough.

Wow! loving this series
As usual, Jamie McGuire has outdone herself with a great book! Normally, I would never read a book about high school but I love the author and decided to bite the bullet yesterday & order Happenstsnce 1! I completed the book last night and just in time for am early release of book 2!Obviously, this is a continuation of Erin's story and the cruelty of small town bullies! Erin is trying to accept the recent changes of events when she comes across Adler's journals and is able to piece together the reason why the two Erin's turned their back on her in the fifth grade. And as Erin always expected she was waiting for her luck to run out and that is when she finds that Weston is hiding a very big secret!!!I can't wait for the series finale......and January is too far away!

Happenstance 2
Erin is trying to still work through all of the information she has received, while living with her real parents. Having caring and attentive parents is something she has never had, so it's hard for her to adjust. She just wants love, not things. But she is slowly growing closer to her real parents, while still battling the bullies at school, who don't seem to care who she really is.Weston is still her constant, throughout all of this. He will take one anyone who chooses to cause her trouble. But soon she makes a discovery that may change the way she looks at him and the way she looks at herself. As if her life hasn't been flipped upside down already."She doesn't need us to fix this for her. We'll just love her through it."This was a nice little story. I can't to see how she handles this information she has been given, in the next book. Thank God she has loyal parents, who would give her the moon if they could, and her boyfriend, who would wrestle dragons.

Part 2 amazing
Just when you think you have everything figured out Jamie throws you a curve ball just to keep you on your toes! Part 2 was just as amazing as Part 1 and I cant wait for final Part 3. I will be sad that this story will be coming to an end but Erin and Weston have worked so much out and Erin is in a good place now in life and she has started to let her birth parents in. Alder held some secrets that have been let out in this part. Will Erin and Weston love be enough to get them through those secrets??? And the final question will be what is going to happen at prom?
