Hl Baskerville Ultra Muzzle Sz3 Black

The muzzle itself is made of solid, sturdy plastic and is perfect for my English Bull Terrier. She can rub her nose on the ground, against a tree, or wherever and this muzzle is not coming off! Only down side was the strap that goes from the forehead down the center of the face toward the muzzle was NOT attached when it was sent to us as depicted in the photo, I had to loop it around the muzzle and sew it by hand myself.

When we sold our cows, our border collie was content to herd the ducks. However his daughter, a border collie/hound mix was so used to herding the cows that she wanted to herd people instead and would try to nip them on the ankle or bottom and then run off. In addition, she is territorial if a stranger comes near my husband's vehicle and certain other people she just wants to pick on for no apparent reason. After a couple of nips; the UPS man had to report it per company policy and our cleaning lady reported it to the sheriff, we were told that one more time and she would have to be put away. She tolerated the muzzle well(reward with treats initially and lots of hugging and attention) and wears it all day as she is out and about all day with my husband on the farm. She can eat, drink, & pant. She still likes to chase rabbits and I think she tries to pin them to the ground. We often will find the bar across the front of her mouth covered in mud or grass. Eventually, she busts that horizontal bar off and we have to buy a new muzzle. Even with that part off she can't open her mouth wide enough to give a bite. She will still go after certain folks and will ram their leg with her muzzle like a battling ram. She is strong and could knock a child or an older adult down. We always keep an eye on her.

I got a size 3 for a medium dog, however it depends greatly on what you think is a medium dog. A size guide by breed would be very helpful and would cut down on returns, I am sure. The product itself seems to be soft and appears as though it could be well tolerated, but the thing is just too small for my dog. The straps were too short as well. Perhaps the larger size would have longer straps. I would purchase it again, but in a different size, except dh went ballistic when he found out about the muzzle. Certain visiting relatives wanted the dogs muzzled because of their small children, so he told them to stay home. Sigh....

We like the color but wished it came also in baby pink. Our dog, a pitbull mix, started to bleed on top of her nose due to this muzzle. We put some felt on the muzzle and now it is perfect. The color is very pretty.

I have been having major problems with my 5 month Border Collie eating everything off the ground. This includes, glass to razor blades. After going to the vet twice in one week I thought maybe the muzzle will help. So far so good! He can pant fine in the muzzle even drink. It does sit on his face a little funny but I believe that's because he is still a puppy and developing. I would have to say I am extremely happy with this product, even with the baby blue color. I was scared that people would avoid him thinking he was aggressive but.. perhaps it is his puppy looks.. they still are asking to pet him

If your dog is nuts, buy this one. If not, buy a soft muzzle.

The strap to go around the collar doesn't fit around any of my dog's collars, it can't make it past the hook that closes the collar.

Fits my dog well and does what it's supposed to do, but it rubs on his nose and irritates it if you don't cover the top with something like bandaids or cotton balls.

I have had two of these now & they are not the tough Muzzles as claimed. In just one outing my Border Collie manages to go through it with his teeth. The one I have now I have had to reinforce it with a piece of aluminium thin sheet & to replace the overhead strap with a light chain.

I brought this for my jack/pug cross,Good product fits well on my SYD.Gives him a breathing space and still able to bark.Dont get wrong he does not like it but i have found its the best one on the market

Für den heimischen Gebrauch ist der Baskerville ganz in Ordnung.Als richtig sicherer Schutz ist er allerdings nicht ausreichend. .
