This digital thermometer works great. I could track our temperature by placing it either in the forehead or in the ear and it gives the reading. The great thing I found in this before buying is the feature to find the temperatures of any object, any room and even liquid with this (may be i think this applies to all other thermometers also). This one even recalled some of my old readings from its memory for the current needs to analyze. It automatically shuts off after few seconds if the device is not in use and it even has a feature to alert us in case of fever and other cases by differentiating to us with the help of a different color displays.

This thermometer came with a user manual and a bag.There is no AAA battery.You are able to measure head, ear, and room temperature.You can switch the unit between F and C.You need to read the user manual first.

This thermometer is incredibly easy to use. We popped in a couple of batteries and touched it to our heads. We used our other thermometer to double-check the accuracy, and it seems to be spot on. I really like this method of taking a temperature, and it seems much more hygenic when you have illness going through the household.

This thermometer is really easy to use. Pop in 2 AAA batteries and press the measure/power button.Follow instructions provided in package1. For forehead use the thermometer as it is without removing the top. This is primarily for kids since its non-intrusive.2.For more accurate reading I would recommend the ear method, Remove the top and then hold the thermometer in the ear, and voila you are done. This will give you a more accurate reading.

I am optimistic that this thermometer will do its ONE job.This is the 4th thermometer I've purchased over the past 6 months.I usually just get the least expensive digital I can find, but I am tired of needing a thermometer and it not doing working. I mean, I KNOW my temp isn't 79.8.The quick test I just did gave me a temp of 98.6 for myself and 98.8 for my son. Plus, it is easy to read and use.I'll update if this one disappoints, but, as I said, I am optimistic.

I feel this digital thermometer is rather accurate, although I've not compared its accuracy against a non-digital thermometer. The thermometer displays the same temperature after three scans within .1. I've had other digitals that vary widely. I like that it can be used on the forehead or in the ear, but I didn't think to purchase covers for in the ear.

Well I have not had a thermometer in years but wow this is easy to use once I read the directions as to what button to hold. LOL Little things have come a long way. But a great and easy option to temperature taking.

Product seemed as close to accurate as I could surmise...not having a bunch of infrared ones to compare, I would say it would be close to my REAL temperature from the mercury old fashioned ones that I USED to have but broke.As far as those el cheapo ones, I tried two at the same time...both were off by a few degrees...NOT GOOD.I would wait for this to be on sale or another one that is rated high...since they ALL are made in China.
