K-ON!, Vol. 2 (K-ON!, 2)

Since there are no real reviews of this volume I figured I'd write a quick one.Here is my subjective opinion of the volume:After watching the anime and reading the first volume, my main complaint stands: The manga feels too rushed compared to the anime. The anime, partly out of necessity for more content, adds many jokes and events of the light music club during their recruitment.This volume mainly focuses on their recruitment of Azusa. There are priceless gags and moments added in the anime that the manga is missing. I am fully aware that the anime was made after the manga but I still believe more content is necessary in the manga to keep a reasonable pace.Objectively, without considering the anime however, I have to give this volume 5 stars for its accurate and correct translation without losing much impact from the Japanese version. Thee art is good, which is what you should expect from kakifly, and is what KyoAni referenced for the anime.

This manga was really great, if you like school life and comedy type manga then this is a perfect manga for you. The book was in good condition but didn't seem new.

K-On ist ja mein lieblings Manga sowie Anime und K-On schafft es, wie kaum ein anderer Manga oder überhaupt Medium mit ein permanentes lächeln ins gesicht zu legen. Ich habe den Manga gute 100Mal gelesen (übertrieben) und er ist immer wieder erneut für ein grinsen gut und wird einfach nicht langweilig. Alles dank den Charakteren die, wie ich es finde, einige der best gezeichneten weiblichen charaktere sind, wie man sie selten findet, und jeder Charakter ist auf seine eigende art einzigartig.Allerdings ist die übersetzung nicht mein Fall. Was mir vor allem aufgefallen ist, das die englischen Übersetzer Ritsus "Spitznamen" in Rit-Chan geändert haben, anstatt wie es im Anime gesagt wird, und in jeder anderen Übersetzung die ich kenne verwendet, in Ric-Chan. Klar, ihr name ist RITsu und dementsprechend macht es sinn Rit-Chan zu schreiben, allerdings kommt mir das einfach nur falsch vor.Dazu kommt noch, dass sie Azusas Spitznamen nicht Azu-nyan genommen haben, sondern die englische vaariante Azu-meow genommen haben. Klingt einfach schlecht wenn man was anderes gewöhnt ist.Trotzallem ist der Manga 5/5 Sterne absolut wert und jeder kauf auch, vor allem weil diese vaariante mehr Farbseiten hat, als die japanische.
