4 stars pending range test
These grip extensions are just what I wanted to improve the grip surface of the Bodyguard 380, which, as most small guns do, has a lot of recoil and muzzle lift (at least for me, a novice shooter). Since I haven't been to the range with these on the magazines, I can only speak to their look, initial feel, and installation. I will update after going to the range.Per the instructions, you only need a ball point pen to install these. This is absolutely true. The stock magazine cap has a little button in the middle on the underside of the mag. Pushing in that button allows you to begin to slide off the factory grip extensions. Be sure to use the thumb of the hand holding the mag to hold down the spring and its base so it won't fly out. The old extension slides off and these slide on perfectly. The center button clicks into place and you're all set. It took me all of about 1 minute to put the extensions on two magazines.I suppose I have average size hands with slightly pudgy fingers, but I was still able to get all three fingers on the grip, which is ideal and more comfortable than the original setup of two fingers securely on the grip and one curled under the magazine, which didn't feel very solid. This feels solid and, if nothing else, puts my mind at ease. The only complaint I would have (and it's not a surprise) is that these grip extensions make the gun harder to carry concealed. Even though the tip of the extension is down near the top of the pants line, the way the gun fits against my body (carrying inside the waistband) creates an angle where the handle does not press against my body but creates a corner in my clothing, because my body is an oval and the gun is a straight line. Even my spare tire couldn't cover the grip extension. In cold weather, this is no problem; just wear a vest or a sweatshirt and it's not noticeable. I can't carry with these grip extensions in the summer. So the current plan is to carry with the factory grips and carry a spare mag with the extension.I would recommend these for shooting at the range, but probably not for concealed carry, although carrying in a shoulder holster or small of back might work just fine.-----UPDATE----- (5/12/14)I was finally able to get out to the range with this on my Bodyguard. I shot about 100 rounds, roughly half with the extension and half with the stock extension. There is definitely an improved feel on the grip; it feels like I'm actually holding a full-size pistol. I'm probably not a good enough shot to know for sure if it really reduces recoil, but to me I FELT more in control of the pistol. I was slightly more accurate, which I'm not sure is because of the grip extension or my additional practice (this was only the second time to the range with this pistol). I can carry it in the small of back pretty well, but I just don't like to carry there (I'm more comfortable with the 3 o'clock position). I still carry with the factory grip and the spare magazine with the extension.

Just replaced the old plates with these extensions and found it to be perfect and quite simple to change out without any tools
Bought these for my father's M&P 380 bodyguard pistol. Just replaced the old plates with these extensions and found it to be perfect and quite simple to change out without any tools. Great extension and completely changed the feel of the pistol in the hand. Thanks for the product.

Dont put your life on the line with these.
I don't know if maybe I just got a bad set but I waited to comment till after the range. While they do extend the grip and feel ok I had a problem with them allowing the mag to seat tight. After every single shot the recoil would pull the mag down about 1/4" and would get a FTF every single shot. Also if you pocket carry forget about it. They will catch every time. I recommend them to no one.

Very Happy
I added these to a pair of Pro-Mag Bodyguard magazines. They work perfect. For the cost of the magazines plus the extensions the price was equal to the factory S & W mags with a better grip because of the extensions.
