This was a gift and he really, really liked it. Very unique.

This knife is beautiful and sturdy but needs a little more fit and finish. Also expect it to appear differently than the original(its handmade after all). This can easily be seen when looking at the sheath as well as blade curve and width. Overall I am glad I bought it!Cons:The finger hole wasn't smoothed down so the edge inside is sharp. The stitching is falling apart at the end and the sheath doesn't quite line up with the hilt.Pros:The blade itself is sturdy and has decent balance. It came sharp! Handle is smooth and fits well in the hand whether using the finger hole or not. Damascus pattern is spot on with a nice texture. Its gorgeous.

This was a gift for my husband. It is a really cool looking knife in real. Even better than the picture. I would buy it again. Great value for the money. Not too heavy but very sturdy. It's a big knife.

This is handcrafted, and there are little imperfections throughout that would turn picky people away. If you're one of those, don't buy this! Personally, I actually prefer the little imperfections, as it reflects the genuineness of the product. Very solid work, sturdy blade altogether, and very beautiful design. Well done.

Although the knife was obviously handmade by a professional of the craft; the blade had a rusted and bent tip.The handle was much larger than what was shown in the picture, I have no complaints with that as it’s to be expected (since it is hand crafted using natural materials) that the handle appearance will be different from one blade to another. It’s unique and that makes each order special so-to-say.Though it should be noted that the one I had received came with no tang or end cap. It was completely hollow and visibly so - as it had no Endcap/Butt; for this reason alone I would not recommend this particular knife to be used for ANY purpose involving heavy swings or even chopping/cutting down branches as one would do with a machete or with a blade of this length (especially given that the handle itself is fully hollow without any tang).

I think I’m gonna order another one. I can hack thru cow bones with this and still maintain a sharp edge. Other butcher knives I used would have dulled or blunted already. It is prone to rust if you don’t keep it lather up with oil when storing though. After use I would clean it up, pat dry, & oil with olive oil. Works great.
